Do not be fooled by the picture on the website!! I echo most of the comments in that the edges on the sleeves as well as seams are unfinished. They unravel and you have a frayed, "stringy" look on the edges. Otherwise, it would have been a good deal, but that is something you just can't overlook. Don't waste your time or money!! Not a good look--I definitely do not recommend!

I was excited about this coat and could not wait for it to arrive. When I got it, I could not wait to return it. It is shabby: the cuffs do not even have finished edges and the fabric was fraying everywhere. The color was more golden and less pink than pictured. There is no way that this could have ever been valued at $170. Do not waste your money on this when there are so many other great things on Overstock.

NOT FOR HEAVY USE I Love It!! Not Really a Coat.Yes! the edges are raw...that's how they are supposed to be. Yes ! the duster(?) is a little baggy, like it is supossed to be. The collar is big and the neckline is wide. It is called a portrait collar and it is supposed to be that way. The collar is a bit pouffy, it has two little gathers to make it look that way. The sleeves are loose with a loose cuff. The empire waist is not tight but sits a bit loose, like a coat would fit, not a dress. I ordered the Medium. I am 5'7" and 137 lbs. I have long arms and legs. I have a large shoulder small hip type of body and this coat looks fabulous on me. The color is a creamy blush with a slight gold shimmer. The wide black grograin ribbon makes it look sweet and classy. DO NOT pull at the loose threads, you will ruin the coat. just clip them. I wear this with at least 3 outfits. It looks great with black pants. I also wear it with a brimed hat that is black and gold. I have worn it to the ballet in the afternoon, church, and to Mothers day lunch. I plan to wear it at least 6 times a year. Cost per use, This one is a bargain for me

I was extremely disappointed in this coat. Yes the price was a huge discount from retail, but I can't imagine anyone purchasing the coat at any price and being happy. I have never seen as poor quality in a product before. It sits in my closet and will never be worn -it was too much trouble to return it for the price I paid. The edges had a terrible raw edge finish. I have purchased other things from you, but nothing was as bad as this was. It will make me think twice before ordering clothing from you again.

When sizes are listed as numbers, there is some variation between brands, but when size is listed as S,M,L, etc, there is a HUGE variable between every brands size. It sure would be nice if some measurements were listed. I took a bargain when I bought it, but I hate buying a small and finding out that it fits like a tent! It was a beautiful jacket, superb value.....unfortunately I had to give it away. Could have returned it, but it would have been a slight loss anyway after I paid for return shipping. Not worth the hassle, so I made a friend very happy.

I adore this coat. I was surprised to see some of the unenthusiastic reviews. To the Max makes beautiful things. The coat is very lightweight, perfect for a chilly spring evening over a cocktail dress. It fits beautifully, the coat is tailored with princess seams at front and back, and the waist is brought in. It is beautiful and I have gotten so many compliments!

Pretty dress coat. I will not get as much wear out of it as I thought because it cannot be worn casually.

The coat looks pretty much like it does in the picture, but somehow I overlooked the dimensions. It's much too long for an avg height person, '5'5. It's a little too boxy and not very flattering. It was worth a shot for the price, but not sure I'll wear it. Maybe I can give it to a much taller person as a gift.

The picture of this coat looks like it is almost a pink and then the name of the color gives that feeling too. When I recieved this coat, it was more of a champegne color. I still really like this coat.

I bought this coat to do as part of a performance because I thought it was pink-ish. It isn't, it is more flesh tones, which I don't like. Furthermore it seems very poorly made, whether the seams are meant to be exposed or not is hard to tell but they are, giving it an unfinished look. The type of material used tends to ravel, so it would be a poor choice for that style. I intend to send it back as I wouldn't even wear it socially either. Pretty disapointing. I bought it after reading several good reviews and one that sounded a lot like this one, geuss that is who I should have paid attention to!

its okay for the price, but the cut is strange, and it is not very fitted in the waist area, making me look boxy and big. Also non eof the seams are finnished giving it a frayed look, kind of like you sewed it yourself. From a distance looks great, and for the price what do you expect.

It is pretty, good value. Do not know if I will wear it or not. But will be good to keep around for the cool night outings. I will take it on the trip for as a spring coat, but not as a rain coat.

I was very disappointed with this purchase. The ad described the color as blush. This was false. The color is gold, no blush or pink overtones at all. The overall look was not good either. I wear a size 2-4 and this coat made me appear chubby.

I really like this jacket, don't think it will be for warmth though because it is very thin (good for a chilly spring day). I bought an extra small and it fits well except for the length is a little too long, it hits my mid calf (I'm 5'2") and looks a little overwhelming on my body, I'll probably just get it hemmed to knee length. Also it's a little fancier than I though it would be, I was hoping for a slightly more casual jacket, (it slightly flares from the body)I have not worn it yet, but I'm sure it will be cute with a pair of skinny jeans and pumps. Overall for the price its a really cute jacket and I'm very happy I got it.

I can see how the other reviewers had a problem with the seams being unfinished. I did not have a problem with it (adds character), but I see that it may become a problem with each wear. i am not too happy with the collars. They are pretty big for the coat. This coat is not to be used to keep you warm. It appears to be more for fashion. Overall, I'm pretty satistified given the price. I would NOT spend any more than $30 on it.

I got the coat in a size small and it is HUGE on me. I like the color and the fabric but I have to send it back because it looks rediculous on me. The undone edges are also not so great.
