I am 5'3" and it falls to just the bottom of my knee. My size is usually a 12 or petite. The medium fits fine on me, a little snug on the top, and might be tight on a large busted figure. A large would have been too large for me, I think, so went down a size here. The skirt is unlined but drapes nicely. A flattering and cute dress for any age or season.

• How accurate was the sizing? I bought a slightly smaller size but it fit fine due to the empire shirred waist, larger would have been too large

This is a complimentary dress for a fair price. The only disappointment I had was when trying it on, the seam busted: not an earth-shattering event since I sew avidly. But this indicates that the threads used were poor quality. However, the cut and style are lovely, which outweighs the negative.
