Tahari by Elie Tahari Women's Snap-front Spring Walking Coat

I just want to say i reccommend this coat to anyone who is looking for a chic and unique style. I also want to thank all who posted their reviews because it really helped me out.

Ordered this coat to wear during our chilly Spring mornings and breezy/nippy afternoons in DC and love it. It has a bit of a sheen to it, but not in your face and the even distribution of wrinkles on the fabric make it look deliberate, not sloppy (normally, I avoid wrinkles for work). The fit is a bit looser than I expected, but it's not designed/cut to skim very closely to your body - it glides over it. It has huge snap buttons on the inside covered in the jacket material so they don't stick out. The arm length is quite long and can be folded up to look like a french cuff sans buttonholes. Inside lining is a darker dove gray lining material with light purple piping and a decorative light purple visible running stitch (decoration). Machine washable and inexpensive. A great example of Tahari - brand and quality - for the price.Many compliments from fashionista-type friends and two strangers when wearing. I've worn it for the entire week now and think I waited too long to get it. Great with a pant and dress suit, an evening cocktails dress, a fancy dinner,and works well with jeans. You can belt it to give it more spark.

I got this coat to have on hand when I have a nice evening event to go to. I love the feel, the style, the weight of the fabric. It is very light but when I wore it on a cold day for a wedding, it was perfect and kept me quite warm. Love it and love the value!!!

Overall a great jacket...if you don't mind the wrinkled look. I happen to think it looks very chic...can be dressed up or down with jeans and heels....wouldn't wear it in cold weather but it is a great spring jacket...well tailored! Fits a little on large size....would buy another in a different colour if I could. Good luck!
