Quality Tahari -- a bit tighter than other Tahari
This is a Tahari suit...therefore, it is a high quality suit. I was a bit sad that this suit fits tighter than all of my other suits. It's not tight enough to send back, just a bit uncomfortable. I would have ordered one size bigger. However, I am keeping it...so I can't say it is that far off from my other Tahari suits. The color is also brighter in person. Overall, it's a high quality suit and you can't beat the price.

- How accurate was the sizing? I only buy Tahari suits. This one fits tighter in the hip and bottom area. All of my other Tahari suits fit perfectly. I am a bit disappointed that this one doesn't fit perfectly.

Great deal for such a beautiful outfit
I recently purchased this outfit for my mother, who has never owned anything from the Tahari line. I, on the other hand, have ordered from them before and love it so I wanted her to try it for herself. She was a little skeptical about the accuracy in sizing because her measurements were between sizes 10 and 12. I ordered her a size 10 and the skirt-suit fits her perfectly, from the sleeves to the length of the skirt. She loves the color because it's not a tacky shade of purple but instead has an elegance to it. My mother is the type of person who shops regularly at pricey boutiques and pays at least $200 for a suit, so she is a firm believer of 'you get what you pay for.' She thought this deal was a little TOO good to be true and believed that the quality of the fabric wouldn't meet her expectations for its price. Tahari proved her wrong. I am so amazed with this company because they offer so many great deals (awesome sale prices) for great quality clothing. Now, after trying it on, she is totally hooked and wants more. I definitely see her saving money by shopping less at her boutiques and shopping more from Tahari. I trust the Tahari line completely and look forward to more great deals in the near future. In regards to the previous review about the top being too small, just make sure you take your measurements before ordering (even if it is by the same company). Then, refer to the measurement/size chart. Plus, I also read the description of the model in the photo (i.e. what size the model is wearing). If you follow this advice, I'm sure you can't go wrong.

Purple Tahari suit
This suit would have gotten 5 stars from me except the jacket was too small. I always wear a 10 in Tahari and I own many of their outfits in both pantsuits and skirt suits. I LOVE this brand. I am small framed but choose carefully because of 36DD top. This was a disappointment but a beautiful suit that I have to wear with only one button fastened at my waist. Bummer. Shame on Tahari for not sticking to their standard sizing!!!

This suit is absolutely gorgeous. It is a very bold purple color, the fabric is sturdy, the buttons are well-crafted, and it stays true to Tahari size. I will be wearing this suit for college speech competitions, and it will really make me stand out!
