I bought this because I needed work clothes that were appropriate for a professional office, but didn't rise to the formality of a suit. This works well with a sweater. I'm happy with the quality and the color.

The eggplant dress is very classy and fit perfectly in my size. I love the color and wore it without the belt and a little black shrug to work and felt professional and put together. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is the material is not a super high quality but no one will know but you. I recommend the dress!

This dress isn't lined, and that is probably why I didn't like it. I ordered the eggplant color in a 12, and felt... bulgy... when I put it on. It hit all the wrong places. If the belt was a little higher, and the bottom half lined and more forgiving, I probably would have kept it. As it was, I sent it back.
