Ray-Ban simply produces quality. I was a bit worried that these glasses would seem cheaply made by the "Rubber Plastic" description on Overstock.com, but for no reason. These glasses are very lightweight, but certainly not flimsy at all. Ray-Ban states the frames are made of nylon, which is strong and flexible. They are rubberized, but is is very subtle giving the frames a soft, matte touch. I only purchase glass lenses, never plastic, so my glasses are always heavier and they tend to become uncomfortable after wearing a long time. Theses glasses don't have nose pads (think aviators) but simply rest on the bridge of your nose, thus distributing the weight of the glasses. I never even think about them they are so comfortable, and the wider lenses seem to fit my face perfectly and keep more light out of my view. I've owned Wayfarers in the same green G-15 lens and these blow them away in my opinion, comfort-wise. They are also much more versatile, style-wise, able to go directly from work to play with no problems. Try wearing your iridium Oakley Fuel Cells with a suit! If I had to find a negative I would bring up the fact that they are NOT polarized. I love the glare reduction of polarized lenses, but have not been uncomfortable yet behind these glasses. Anyway, the RB4151 glasses are all quality, strong, and lightweight... and they look great to boot! They have earned the Ray-Ban logo and they have earned a place as the most comfortable glass-lens sunglasses I have ever owned.

I have been a solid Smith Optics' customer for decades. Their sunglasses are the best. They support their products with excellent customer service. Whenever it's time for me to buy a new pair of sunglasses, there's only one brand for me.....Smith Optics or nothing. My eyes deserve a cool view.

At the cost, these are a good investment, especially because they're polarized. If you're seeking good optical purity, then you'll need to spend a bit more. There's small ripple in the right lens, occasionally noticeable but hardly a real problem. (At 19X the cost, my Ray Bans also have a flaw, but it's not in the lens and was fixed with a sharpie.)

I just received the sunglasses yesterday and have worn them for an hour. These sunglasses appear to have the exact same design of some I sampled at my local Target store a few weeks ago. Target had them for $16-$18. I was surprised by the cheap feel of glasses that cost $24 without shipping. I was expecting a little better quality, but none the less, they do the trick and nothing more. The fit was ok for my small to avg size face. I do like the rubberized nose pads and tips of the arms, which would help them stay put on your face if you lead an active lifestyle or engage in sports.

Savvy hunters know that being proficient at their sport involves mastery of more than just a rifle. This hunting optics buying guide will show you how to buy hunting optics that are right for you.
A good pair of ski goggles will protect your eyes in many ways. Ski goggles block ultraviolet light, which can be stronger at high elevations than at near sea level. Sunlight also tends to be brighter when you're skiing because the light reflects off the snow. Ski and snowboard goggles will also protect your eyes by keeping wind and snow out better than sunglasses, and you won't have to worry about your goggles falling off or breaking as easily as sunglasses. And if you enjoy tree skiing, goggles are going to help protect your face and eyes from small branches.
