barnabyjones from Denver, CO, Rating:5.0I am loving this suit. I took it to my tailor (had to get the pants hemmed anyway,) and only did some minor adjustments. I could have worn it without doing anything to it, but I like to make sure my suits fit perfectly. I have worn it 2 times now, and both times I received multiple compliments from strangers. 100% satisfied.

rednop from Wichita Falls, TX, Rating:5.0Very well constructed suit. The suit had good stitching at stress point. The sizing was great. The suit fits comfortable at key points, like the sholder and arm pit. The material was well constructed

jsarreal from Washington, DC, Rating:4.0Ok, so this is a standard Macy's Alfani suit, so pretty good and durable, but again, the main attraction here is the price. I originally ordered a 38S and upon arrival, the jacket was the correct size, but the pants were not. Luckily, the Customer Service support provided was excellent and a replacement suit was sent right away. Overall, for the price, this is a steal.

kenoragal from Kenora, Ontario, Rating:5.0I bought this for my son for Sr. Prom. It came very quickly and the fit was amazing. No alterations required! I am amazed at the quality craftsmanship of this suit. If you are hesitating to buy this, don't....you wont regret the purchase.

I wear suit 42R and waist 34 with 34 inseam. I've been trying to buy suit off the website with no success as i can't find this combination. When i see 42R the corresponding waist is 36 which is 2ins too big for me. What can i do to get my actual size?
Switch to a high fat diet, more butter, sweets and salty snacks. Drink more beer. Red meat often. Cut back on fruits and vegetables. NO fish or chicken, unless deep fried. And yes, you'll have fries with that. Do you like McDonalds? Learn to. Those pants will fit you fine in about a month.
Those 2in wold be nothing to a good tailor/seamstress...after the alterations the pants will have a custome fit...better than anything you can get off the shelf.
How to choose the size of pants, If it is written 36 x 32. That means the first number- 36 and that means the second -32.
its called a drop, the difference in inches between the chest and waist, you're looking at fairly conservative drops made for people that have less of a V shape. Look for slimmer suits and they will have a better drop. You can tailor 2 inches though...
You have to take it to a local talior and have it fitted. Find someone who knows how to work on suits, not everyone does.
1)My measurements are: Height:168cm Neck-15.5 inches Chest-39 inches Sleeve-32 inches Waist-33 inches With my measurements what should be the right size for me? 2)Can anyone clarify what does the alphabet behind the number represents? E.g 40S/34, 42R/36, 40L/34 Thanks in advance
Hello benasd95, Thank you for your post. The S stands for small, the R is for regular and the L is for long. Was there a specific suit that you were interested in purchasing?
