    I bought this suit for a wedding coming up. The pants were supposed to be 46 waist...they were 48. I had to go to a tailor to get them fixed and hemmed ( I tried matching other pants to the coat...good luck) and the coat needed some alterations as well for a decent fit. By the time I add the additional cost, I could have bought a suit that fit right from the start and spent my money locally. Oh well, live and learn...

    Very nice suit but ran way too small. My husband wears a 38S. The sleeves were way too short and he couldn't even button it. Maybe ordering up a slze would help.

    So the suit fits real nice. I like the material and cut! The color is nice and the blue pin stripes are sharp! I spent $259.99 so it wasn't inexpensive, but all in all I feel a solid deal. It's a nice wool suit. Not the shine of a super 150s suit though. I'm getting the pants hemmed now and then I'm looking forward to sporting it! Get it if you can!

    I wear suit 42R and waist 34 with 34 inseam. I've been trying to buy suit off the website with no success as i can't find this combination. When i see 42R the corresponding waist is 36 which is 2ins too big for me. What can i do to get my actual size?

    its called a drop, the difference in inches between the chest and waist, you're looking at fairly conservative drops made for people that have less of a V shape. Look for slimmer suits and they will have a better drop. You can tailor 2 inches though...

    You have to take it to a local talior and have it fitted. Find someone who knows how to work on suits, not everyone does.

    I recently bought a suit at a discount but found it to be too small, if I send it back can I get the same suit 2 sizes bigger for the same discounted price?

    You'll have to buy "suit separates". Standard suits have a 6-inch "drop" (difference between chest and waist sizes), and some slim fit suits have a 7-inch drop. You could always buy one with a 7-inch drop and get a tailor to take in the waist, but it's not that hard to find separates.
