I just received this coat and it is exactly what I wanted. It's very similar to the North Face Metopolis Parka which I REALLY WANTED...but this coat is much more economical and just as warm and fitting.I am a size 4 or 6 and I ordered a medium so that I would have room for sweaters/winter wear. I have found that this size is perfect for me and does not look bulky.I desired to have a long coat but since I am only 5'3" The length is more than half way down my calf. I want to be able to wear and showcase boots this winter so I may get it hemmed up a couple inches but the coat is perfect and the hood is detachable which is a MAJOR plus, and also not listed in the description. ORDER THIS COAT and ENJOY!

I ordered this coat and when it arrived, it looked beautiful. Nice style with warmth. However, I ordered a Women's Large and it didn't fit at all. I would have returned it, because the size is absolutely way off, but my co-worker (who is a size 4) loved it and it fit her perfectly so she bought it from me. I'm sorry but someone who is a size 4 would not normally wear a Women's Large. So, Steve Madden, your size is absolutely NOT true to the label. Basically, if you want to order a size that fits you, I'd go at least 2 sizes up from what you'd normally order to even be close.

I bought this coat to wear over work clothes so wanted something a bit fitted but still something in down. As a recent size SMALL who's just become a few sizes larger, I wish I'd bought a LARGE instead of the MEDIUM. The elastic in the back is pretty firm and I feel a bit puffy in front when the coat is zipped and I have gloves in my pocket. Still, it is a really nice looking and stylish coat. The stitching is well-dine and seems like it will last a while. I am happy I bought it but just hope that the elastic stretches a little bot more with wear. I definitely recommend it, just make sure to buy a size larger than you normally would.

I bought this jacket for my girlfriend for Christmas to fight the blistering cold Chicago winters! She LOVES it! It's full length keeps her extremely warm from top to bottom. The style is a perfefct fit due to the fact that it isn't bulky yet very classy and more importantly still warm. It has two zippers, one from the top and one to the bottom so she can still walk around comfortably. Its durability lets her play with the dog outside or wear it out for a night out on the town. When she puts it on she says "Greatest jacket ever!" I guess I did good!
