Steve Madden Men's 'Quenten' Brown Boots

pros: the suede used in the construction of the boots is soft but strong; the stitching and overall construction is sturdy; the lub sole is slim and unobtrusive; the footbed is comfortable; the rawhide laces are a nice twist; styling hits a nice balance between rugged and sleek; trendy but understated cons: the toebox feels small enough (surprisingly shallow) to consider ordering a half-size up, even though the rest of the shoe fits perfectly (the toebox on mine broke in and become comfortable after a few wears); the photos on the website don't show very clearly that the panels on the sides of the boots have an intentionally rumpled look produced by extra material (i personally was pleasantly surprised); there's some slight matting to high-friction points on the shoe that also aren't very clear in the website photos (again, pleasantly surprised) conclusion: an excellent pair of comfortable casual boots. considering a second pair in black.
