As soon as you get your boots, if you don't already have some (every house should) go out and buy Mink Oil and coat these puppies. Wait a day or two for it to sink in, you can go ahead and wear them afterwards, but then after a couple days, slather on another coat of oil. Apply with a shoe brush and rub down with a soft cloth. Your boots will now be waterproof, the leather will be nice and softened and you'll have a great "vintage-y" look to them. More so than when you receive them.

Size was totally wrong. I ordered one size larger as suggested, but could not even get my feet into these, as the one size larger that I ordered was still 2 sizes smaller than required.

Boots are well-made, considerably good-looking and they are definitely worth the money. However there are two flaws that I've found Comfort: I'd wear thick socks because the shoes' wall tend to rub quite hard on the outer ankles. Weight: Though the sole was made out of rubber instead of wood in order to reduce weight and save costs these shoes are not light. Be ready to drag your feet if you were not used to wearing boots like I was. Convenience: Compared to regular sneakers, it took me twice the time to put these boots on, you'd have to zip and tie them laces. If you have quick hands, this will not be a problem.
