I purchased two dresses for wedding flower girls. I ordered a size 6 for a thin, tall 8 yr. old and it fit perfect. The size 5 fit the 5 year old as well. They hit just below the knee. They arrived in good time, but 'stuffed-in-the-bag' package, so we needed to have them steamed out. The girls felt like princesses and are looking forward to playing dress-up in their dresses.
My daughter loved the dress, and had to try it immediately...... It fit her perfectly, and as a seamstress, I found the dress to have been
made very well. The fabric was of good quality and I am confident the dress will be worn many times, my daughter even commented
that she would like to save it for her daughter!

The dress is beautiful, the fabric, it is a great quality dress. They run very small. My daughter wears a 3T or 4T. 4T is typically loose. I had to return the dress I originally bought and exchange for a 6, which I am afraid won't fit for a wedding in 2 months....so that is very much an issue. The bride selected this dress with me out of all the options I sent to her. Buy this dress 4 sizes larger than you need, and you'll be in good shape. The length on the 6 is actually ok for my 3 year old, it is almost to the floor. As a point of reference, my daughter is in the 45-50th percentile of her age group for height and weight. Although the return policy with overstock is OK and the process wasn't bad, I was still out a few dollars and some time over this. All being said, if you get a larger size..you'll be very happy with this dress.

This dress is adorable. I ordered it in a size larger than what my daughter wears, and it was a perfect fit. This dress runs small. My daughter wears a 8 but a 10 fit perfect. It is a great price and great for a one day event.
