Crystal clear optics and light weight too! No squint makes wearing these shades a pleasure.

The glasses are excellent - well made, good materials, perfect fit for (Asian) face, good tint, no distortion. Tint may be a little light for N. Cal sun, but very usable. Only nit is that lens case leather wrap delaminated in heat of car.

I LOVE Serengeti Drivers, in the semi-aviator/sort-of-Don-Johnson look, but can't find them anymore. I opted to give this style a try, and hated them. These glasses were so wide on my face, despite my Slavic bone-structure, that I looked like a child wearing daddy's shades. I sent them back, very disappointed.

For the first two weeks I had them, the clarity was sharp and the colors spectacular. Then on a trip to Martha's Vineyard, the hinges and frames began to loosen from lenses. Then on a windy ferry ride, the construction really did just fall apart while i was wearing them. The fasteners on the nose bridge separated, leaving into two not-so-cheap monocles. The way they two parts sort of blew off my face in a gust would have been comic if a) it happened to someone else b) I did pay what I paid for a decent pair of sunglasses. This was my second pair of Serengeti in less than two years. the others--hooked on to the top of a shirt--were destroyed in an overzealous hug. Despite the excellent clarity, filtration, and colors, the construction is simply too delicate. I don't want to have to buy new glasses every summer.

Glasses were just as shown and what I wanted at a good price. However delivery time was just over three weeks.

The actual size of this is bigger than the specs stated, it measures 6 in across, decided to keep it and give it as a gift to a friend with bigger face.

I was looking for a pair of sunglasses and found the perfect ones! These sunglasses are comfortable and are a perfect tone of brown, not too dark, not too light. Great protection for the eyes. Definitely a great purchase and highly recommend them.

In early June my Serengeti sunglasses were stolen, and because my ophthalmologist recommends these glasses, I started shopping for a replacement pair. I was pleased to find this pair online at Overstock.com, and ordered them. They were shipped promptly, and arrived in good condition approximately four days after I placed the order. However, within a week, one of the temple screws fell out, and I had to have it replaced at a cost of $10. Things were O.K. for a couple of weeks; then a week ago, I started to put the sunglasses on, and they came apart in my hands. This time, one of the nose piece screws was missing. I can, of course, choose to have it replaced at another $10 cost, but now I have no confidence that these glasses will ever hold together. My bargain sunglasses are no bargain, but instead a costly loss. Because of this experience, I will not likely order a product from overstock.com in the future.
