This is a sleek and clean looking checkbook cover. Great gift idea for male or female. The only thing i wasn't pleased about is that it has the company name etched on the front right hand corner.

I got tired of my (rarely used since I do electronic bill-payments for nearly everything) check book from getting beat up in my bag so I started looking for a checkbook cover. The vast majority are distinctly designed for a woman's aesthetic and/or are made of expensive leather that won't do much to protect against scratches etc. rattling around in a bag. The aluminum checkbook cover looks nice, seems well constructed, and securely holds my checkbook. The only minor caveat is that there's no mechanism to hold it shut. I suppose I could use a rubber band for that if I really wanted to but I haven't found it necessary. Good price. Delivered promptly. No complaints at all.

Love this Checkbook cover, very sturdy & wear resistant. It will last for a lifetime if not abused.

The gotcha with this product is that it does not work with carbon copy checks. The kind of checks that make a carbonless copy of your check. There is no easy way to to place a blotter between the check you are writing and the unused checks below. If you use conventional checks on the bottom flap and a check register on the top flap, this is exactly what you are looking for.

Somebody wrote that he/she did not like the fact that the company name is engraved on the checkbook. I think the person is using the checbook backward.

This is a unique check book cover that is durable and good looking. The only drawback is that there is no partition for two part checks that have a carbonless copy. I have cut out a piece of cardboard from another check register to wedge in between the checks, which is not deadly, but this would be a simple problem for Saunders to solve. On the positive side, the solid cover becomes a good writing platform when you need something solid to write on.

Ordered two aluminum checkbook covers. They arrived sealed in individual packages and are perfect. The covers have hinges at the top so the checks and the register will fit inside with no problem. Will definitely order more for friends!

very nice. It holds checks and register tightly. I would have preferred the company logo be a little smaller or even be on the inside of the cover but overall a very unique and different look for checks. Very satisfied

This would be worthy of 5 stars if it had a divider to put between the checks when filling them out. I had to create my own divider to prevent the carbon from writing on the check below. I can't believe no one thought of that???? Also some photos of the inside of the product would have let me know that this was missing before purchasing. It is a very sturdy, well made cover, and as long as you are ok with making your own divider, you will be quite pleased with this checkbook cover.

It is such a unique item and very well made. Everyone I've bought it for loves it - including myself!

The silver color is smooth, shiny, it's very protective, the checks slide in very tightly inside the case, feel good to write on, and look beautiful surrounded by the silver simplicity. It's definitely hard to get used to having the convenience of a hard backing all the time. I don't like that because of the angles of the metals, the cover does not flip 360 deg around, instead stops at 180 when lying open flat. I'm used to flipping my checkbook cover completely around when writing checks. It also rattles which gives a different feeling, atmosphere, than I was expecting. It would definitely be an excellent product if it weren't for these things.

The checkbook cover is very cool...different than any other I've had. I love it.

I really like the look of the product, very durable.
