This is an absolutely wonderful dress, but if you don't want to spend money on having it altered/hemmed if you are shorter than 5'9, skip this one. I'm 5'4" and had to have at least 4 inches hemmed off the bottom. To me, worth it, given the rest of the dress fits like a glove. Super-comfy material, machine washable, and flattering on. I got both colors, and they are gorgeous! The magenta is more along the lines of a raspberry/plum color and the teal is very beautiful as well. Overall great buy, fit true to size (other than the length).

This dress fits true to size. I'm 5' 4" tall and I did need to hem it, so it is ideal for taller woman who has difficulty getting a maxi dress that is long enough. It can be worn for casual wear or can be dressed up with jewelry. Great dress for a cruise or island wear.

I bought this dress for a cruise. It is easy to pack, nice style, and flattering. I usually wear a 6 or 8 in a dress. the 6 felt like it gave me plenty of room, had to hem it 3".

I needed a dress for my sons wedding and I found this one. The funny thing is when I read the reviews there was one saying perfect for the Mother of the Groom!! And it is!! I did have to order a smaller size then normal. Love it!!! Thanks for the reviews

I was hesitant to buy a dress over the Internet because it is for a recital. It is of importance, and was worried it would be damaged in shipping. The results of this purchase were great! It was perfect when it arrived, arrived in a timely fashion, and fit pretty well. Once it was altered, it fits perfect. Material is light, and the color is exactly as described. Thank you Overstock!

I bought this dress at a retail store for $69,,,,I wish I had checked Overstock..com first.It is a great fit...I usually wear a 12 but this dress is perfect in a 10. I am 5'6" and it is just slightly too long. I ordered a thin silk/chiffon magenta shawl from Nimli andI will wear it as the Mother of the Groom in 2 weeks. I added a faux diamond broach in the bodice to dress it up.
