If you are looking for something more than the average "little black dress", this is it! I was looking for something that would make me feel sexy, but still be age appropriate for a mother on two at 31 years of age. This dress could make a pole look curvy. The rushing is very flattering. I wore it to a wedding recently where there were many "little black dresses" but I have to say that this one took the prize. Sexy, yet sophisticated. The only thing that I warn is that the dress is hot. It is made to fit tight on your body, and because of the rushing, the material is very thick, so it is a little on the hot side, but worth it! I ordered this dress because I've been in desperate need of a little black dress for quite a while. The dress looks pretty expensive. It's ruched with many layers of fabric, so while it's warm, it also feels like it will last forever. It is very form fitting, so if your problem area is your waistline I would stay away. I'm not crazy about the cap sleeves, but I might wear a wrap or cardigan with this depending on the event. I ordered one size up because I was worried about the length (I'm 5'10), and I'm glad I did-- the size still fits because there's a great stretch to the dress, and it hits me just above the knee. Overall, great staple for semi-formal events.
