Sandro Women's Poplin Notch Collar Dress

I am a pear shape and not many dresses are figure flattering for me. I ordered this and figured I'd give it a shot. They didn't have black so I thought I'd be bold and go with periwinkle. Once I got home and saw that it was delivered I tried it on immediately. I have kind of big arms and the sleeves weren't too tight and it fit perfectly in the torso and the tie gives just the right amount of attention to the waist. The color is great and I'm excited to accesorize with bright fun summer jewelery. I'm not looking forward to ironing it but hey that's what dry cleaners are for. I also gave it the twirl test and it's a winner! What girl doesn't love a good twirly dress?

• Did the product fit true to size? I am a bit heavier than normal right now and I tend to run bigger in the bottom than the top so I got a 14. It looks great on and fits perfectly.

Very figure flattering for many body types. The sleeve detail, full skirt and cinched in waist make you look & feel very feminine, sexy & elegant. This dress can go from the office to an evening out with friends to a relaxed weekend event depending on how you accessorize it. The style of the dress has a timeless appeal so it'll be one of those "go-to" items in your closet for a long time. The fabric & workmanship are of a very good quality. The bit of stretch in the fabric makes the dress comfortable to wear & easy to move in. It is machine washable so you'll save on dry cleaning too.

I was shopping online for a dress I can change into as I walk away from my reception and off to my honeymoon in a few weeks. I wanted something classy, adorable, and modest, and this dress is ALL of those things! (The neckline is a little low, but a cami/undershirt is an easy remedy to that.) I saw a review about the the material quality being a pillowcase- very thin, and low quality, so I was a bit worried. The material is a little see-thru, but that's only when you're not wearing it. If you put it on, it's not see-thru at all. The material isn't thick so that it can be light and airy, and it is most definitely a twirly dress, as pointed out by another previous review! I love the wrap that goes around the waist. I am not the same shape as the model in the picture, but I was able to adjust the tie so that it still flattered my waist line. Honestly, I can't name anything I don't love about this dress! Muchas Gracias, Overstock!

I bought this dress for my 13 year old daughter to wear to her piano recital. She complained that it was too long, but in my opinion it was just right. It was modest and classy. She got many compliments on it. Now she calls it her lucky dress. My only complaint is that it wrinkles very easily. You just have to get your iron out for this one.
