The dress is very cute, but also dangerously short unless one plans on shuffling around upright all day, not bending in any particular direction. The material is a nice lightweight jersey, really more suited for layering over jeans or another skirt or leggings. It's definitely perky and youthful, but even I, a very petite person, who likes to look young and trendy, though not inappropriately so, would not wear it as a dress. On the other hand, if you are a small person, it shows off your curves nicely.

Cute dresses, but they are more for young petite women, very petite women or a child. If you are a medium, try the xxl, maybe it would fit you, they really come extremely small.

I purchased this for my teen daughter who is very petite - it's cute, and she liked it, however, anyone over five feet tall and over 90 pounds should order a bigger size. She is about five feet tall and 90 pounds and the small barely fits!! If I order another color, I will buy her a medium. It's short and form-fitting, but cute for small/thin girls. I would recommend it for tweens who are hard to shop for because they don't want babyish dresses. A small is about a girl's size 12.
