I'm a little disappointed due to the fact that I requested a size 8 in these boots and got a size 8 1/2 instead. I was not contacted by anyone saying that I would receive a size bigger than i requested. The boots are nice and would be comfortable except they are big, rather than go through the trouble of returning them I kept them. I logged on to your site and realized you no longer any average sizes available like an 8 so Instead I chose to keep them. Rocket dog shoes tend to run a little on the big side, i currently own a few pair of Rocket dog boots and know this fact first hand. I sincerely wish someone from customer service would of contacted me to let me know of the change in size, at that i time I could have made the decision myself to get the bigger size or cancel the order. As for the boots, i love them. They do not fit as well as an 8 would have therefore they are not as comfortable as they should be.
Good looking snow boot. The back heel is very stiff and not as comfortable. My kids comment that the boot makes them feel like they need to lean forward. Hopefully the shoe will soften with wear.
The first thing to say is that they are basically green, army green. I didn't know that that's what their color name actually meant. Either way, if you are someone who wears earth tones, you'll be fine.Beside that, they are pretty comfortable and true to size. I always buy half a size bigger cause I live in Boston and like to double layer the socks for the winter - and I can definitely do that with my 1/2 size bigger boots. But they are also not too big. I don't know yet if they are waterproof - that's yet to come this winter. But so far, from the day I got them, I can't stop wearing them. But that's just me of course! Oh, and they are warm and cushy, but don't bulge out your jeans at the legs.
