Too tight
I was hoping these would work because I have been looking for plain flat black boots for ages, but these were just waaay too tight. I usually wear a 8.5 to 9 so I ordered these in a 9, but I could not even pull them on half way and couldn't get my foot into them at all. Very disappointing, but I am sure they could work for someone with super slim calves because they were pretty cute. In addition to the size issue, I had to return them because one of the boots was defective. There was a faded discoloration that looked like it had been scuffed pretty bad, but it was also sticky. Kind of disturbing, but Overstock was super fast and efficient with the whole purchase/return process that I may give them another chance in the future.
- How did the color on site compare with the actual product? Overall color was fine. However, there was a discoloration on one side of the right boot, so I had to return them.

The boots are absolutely gorgeous, but the top BARELY squeezed over my calves! I was hoping to wear these over jeans but there's no way they will fit.

Love these boots. They're so comfortable, stylish and quality. I think these are meant to be a loose fit for being low heels and comfortable. They're very modern and on the contemporary side. You can dress up or dress down with these. I receive lots of compliments on these. i would buy again.

I love love love these boots. They are comfortable enough for miles of walking but they look chic enough to wear when dressing up! I have thse in black as well and they have a heavy rotation in my closet. Not to mention the small wedge gives a bit of height as well!

Nice boots
For the price, these boots were nicer than expected. The prior reviews concerned me about size, but I took a chance as I was replacing a pair of boots that were 20 years old and were just worn out. The heel is hidden and so they don't look too dressy, but yet nice enough to pair with skirts and dresses for work or jeans for casual attire.

Nice Boot, Cheap Leather
These boots fit well and are very comfortable due to the low wedge style. The higher shaft length hits right at my knee, which I prefer. For the price, you can't beat it! The leather is also very soft to the touch, but the unfortunate side effect of soft leather is that is shows scratches really easily. After wearing these for only one day, the toes are a bit scuffed and looking worn. This is not the kind of leather that looks good with scratches and distressing - it's a little shiny so the scratches just look bad. I'll still wear these boots through the winter - they are very comfortable!

Cheap looking, huge around the ankles.
I was really looking forward for these boots to arrive. When i first tried them on, the area areound my unkles was too big, and they didn´t look like real leather. Very disappointing.
