Report Dutchess Women's Riding Boots

These were awful. I own a lovely pair of Report Nymph boots which fit great and have nice materials. I was so disappointed to find how badly the Dutchess boot compared. They seemed very cheaply made in that they fit poorly in an awkward way. The zipper, which runs up the back, bent inward (and was fixed this way) on one boot in such a way that it was very painful and I had pain in the achilles tendon for days after first wearing these. In addition, I had to keep stomping the other boot to get it back into place each time I took a step as this also did not fit right despite many adjustments to the lacing. I have never had any problem with tall boots or even combat boots before. I wore them twice before I ended up donating them and I hope the person who receives them has better luck, or feet and legs that do not match so they fit. As far as the service, however, it was just fine.

Decent boots for the price. They fit true to size and I like the fact they zip up the back instead of on the side.

These boots are just what I was looking for! They are extremely comfortable and after i wore them around the house for a while, I forgot I was wearing them they were so nice. The leather is soft and pliable and they look really good on my feet. Even my short, stocky legs look pretty good! The toe shape is not too pointy, not too blunt -- just right. There is a full-length zipper on the back and full lace up front which easily accommodates muscular calves and can be laced more tightly for slim legs. These will look great with pants (full length, capri or crop), gauchos, skirts and dresses etc. The look a little old fashioned and they make me feel very cool! Power boots! I highly recommend these boots!

These boots can be used for so many different outfits! I can even use them when riding my motorcycle, which is great! I would go with 1/2 a size bigger though. I went with my normal size despite other reviews because I am on the brink between 7 and 7 1/2 in most shoes. I really should have gotten an 8. But I love them anyways!!

These are my favorite boots. They required little to no break-in time. I wore them to work the day after I received them, and didn't have any discomfort despite wearing them for nearly 10 hours that first day. My usual shoe size wasn't available in the color I wanted when I ordered these, so I ordered a half size larger than usual. I was expecting that my foot might slip slightly inside them as a result, and that I might have to be careful about avoiding blisters. Instead the laced calf keeps the boot snug around my legs, therefore there's no slippage, while the half-size difference means that there is extra toe room. I think they may run true to size, but if in doubt, don't be afraid to try the next half size up. The boots are extremely comfortable, and I have gotten lots of compliments on them. They're nice with either pants or skirts, and I've worn them with pants tucked in as well as worn over them.
