Enjoyable Shoes
These shoes are very comfortable. The sizing is right on the spot. The color is a BIG disappointment for me. Instead "taupe" it is DARK BROWN... what a difference! I would still buy them if I would see them in person, but the color on the picture is deceiving and much nicer. Otherwise I am very happy I have found this style. It can be worn with pair of jeans as well with Summer dress or skirt giving it a little edgy look.

I purchased these boots for my daughter and they are perfect for what she was looking for. We both were thrilled the moment we saw them. They arrived in a few short days as promised and fit her perfectly. She was looking for something with a look for old-time-y, costume-y and these fit the bill.

Different Sizes
I bought these boots in a 7 1/2. The left one fits great, maybe a little snug, but it feels sturdy. The right one does not fit great, it's way too tight, and is visibly more narrow than the left boot. Yet they both say 7 1/2. I love the look of the boots, and I plan to get the right one stretched out at a shoe repair store, if its not too expensive. I've never had a problem with two of the same size shoes not fitting both of my feet before, so I don't think it's my feet. If I return it to get another pair, they might turn out the same way, so I'm reluctant to pursue that option. Anyway, this brings my worries about online shopping up a notch. The shoes smell nice, I think they might be real leather. The lacing is perfect, and the boot feels so sturdy when you walk around. I could see myself wearing a pair of these to a concert all night, which is what I bought them for, if I can just get the right one to stretch out more. If you are interested in this pair, I say use discretion. And maybe be more willing to return the item than I am.

I bought these to complete a Steampunk/Victorian costume. They are perfect for that purpose.

- How accurate was the sizing? I usually wear an 8.5 I ordered the 9. They fit fine without thick socks.

for the price, these boots they are totally worth getting. i got them in brown (to stray away from my black shoe obsession) and i wear them all the time now.
