  • No Quality Control/Seconds?

    Jun 22, 2014

    realpickybutfair  from Seattle, WA, Rating:1.0

I own two pairs of Fendi prescription glasses with a similar frame style so when I found these readers on Overstock I thought it would be worth the investment. Not only was the quality poor (there were 4 deep 'pits' in the nose bridge of the frame), but the color stripe was burgundy instead of brown. Either someone was carrying these glasses around in their purse without a case for several months and then returned them, or Overstock is selling seconds. Either way, no one inspected them before shipping. What a disappointment. I will be returning for a full refund.

So cool I bought a pair for my husband. He loves them too!

  • Lightweight but ........

While these are VERY lightweight, they are not very sturdy. If you just put them on your face and leave them there, don't move around too much and place them gingerly on the table when you're done with them, they might work for you. I bought these for my husband how is active around the house and actually uses these at the end of his nose like a bifocal. They are off and on his face many times a day. Within a week, both lenses popped out and, while trying to put them back together, the frame broke at the curve of the lens. Praise Super Glue once again. I think we'll go back to buying several pairs at the corner drugstore for just a few bucks each and leave these overly hyped glasses alone.

  • Retro Reading Glasses

Bi-colors as pictured is not accurate. Colors are opalescent pastel-like. The orange frame is more of a light pink and the temple color is a faded pink and not red. These frames are for a female small face - more for a child.
