Bought for my sister-in-law Betsy who is 5'10 and 150 lbs and the size 10 gown was big on top. The 8 might have fit her but we didn't want to pay for the return shipping of the gown if it didn't fit. Probably would have but my sister-in-law stated she will pass on it and find something already in her closet to wear to her function. Per Betsy a beautiful gown!
