Insides are scratchy
These are lovely looking mittens. They aren't too floppy, and extend past the heel of the hand an appropriate distance. However, I expected the insides of these to feel like the inside of my Ugg boots. It does not. It's been a long time since I've visited a petting farm, but I would guess they are lined with goats hair, and I expected the soft fur of a sheep. The lining is coarse and a little scratchy. However, I wore them in to work today, and they are very warm, so I am keeping them even though they are not what I expected.

Feel nice, kind of weak
These are warm and comfortable, but my left mitten has a small tear in the suede already on the top, so it's not even a spot that would get worn through normal use. I've worn these about 5 times, since the cold hasn't really hit New England yet. It might just be a flaw in the suede, or it might've been a weak patch or a nick from the manufacture. I am just hoping it doesn't rip open bigger, because then the gloves will be a waste of resources. If it's an unfortunate flaw in my particular mittens, then these are worth buying. If it's a common occurrence, it's time to check the manufacturing procedures!

Not too warm...
Pretty mittens...although the shearling lining is very thin... if you are into "looks" - you will be pleased.... if you need the mittens to actually be warm as well... you will be sorely disappointed.

Good Value, Right Size
I bought these mittens for a friend and ordered the small size. (My friend and I both have rather small hands; I wear a 6.5 shoe size and sometimes I have to purchase a children's large when shopping for mittens.) I tried them on briefly before I gave them to my friend. I was pleasantly surprised by how well they fit. They're just as advertised, with a soft suede-like outside, but they're maybe a little scratchier than anticipated on the inside (being shearling and all). Overall, seems like a fairly decent product, and a fairly excellent product given the price. Not sure about durability, and probably never will unless my friend clues me in. If she's like me, she'll lose one mitten before anything tears. ;)
