Cashmere
from Melinda in Albuquerque,  Jan 8, 2012

The gloves appear much more luxurious in the photo. I ordered the cream/oatmeal color and the color did not disappoint, however, the gloves are extremely thin, such that your flesh will be seen through the fibers. They are very soft to the touch but not of much substance. They could tear after just a few wearings. If you are looking for a warm-ish driving glove, dog-walking or outing glove, this is not the pair to own. They are not attractive, they appear "cheap" and inexpensive. I bought these as a gift and had to apologize for the quality -- ended up purchasing another gift to make up for these cashmere gloves.

  • How did the color on site compare with the actual product? Much the same as photo
  • Please tell us about the quality of the product. Somewhat disappointing
  • How accurate was the sizing? Fair

Not a luxury item
from Manville, NJ,  Dec 8, 2011

For cashmere, these gloves are really utilitarian looking and lack any semblance of luxury. The knit is really thin and I can see my skin through the fabric. I purchased them as a gift, but will return them because I'd be too embarrassed to present them to the intended recipient. You'd be better off with a cheap pair of stretch gloves from the local craft store. Not worth the price, even if they seem like a relatively good deal.

  • How did the color on site compare with the actual product? I wasn't able to see the color online
  • Please tell us about the quality of the product. Mediocre, utilitarian quality. These looked more like gardening gloves than a winter luxury.
  • How accurate was the sizing? n/a

Warm cashmere
 from VA,  Mar 2, 2010

These gloves exceeded my expectations. They are cashmere and very soft, warm and thick. They also come up above the wrist so that the area between your wrists and arms are well covered. I bought the ivory pair and the color is classic ivory. Italian made.

Cozy Gloves
 from Iowa,  Jan 7, 2010

I bought these for someone who lives in Seattle. For true winter weather where temperatures fall below about 35-40 degrees fahrenheit, these gloves would not be super warm. The knit is fine, yarn is beautiful, color is rich but not too dark and fits nicely on a small hand. But if you live where it is in the 20's or teens, they would be better used as an inner liner for leather. I almost wish I would have gotten the longer version. I always forget what it is like to have chilly air blow up the sleeves.

Nice Enough
from Chicago, Illinois,  Dec 27, 2009

I purchased these gloves to match a cashmire scarf I purchased in Scotland this summer. The color is quite close and I was pleased about that, but the gloves are a bit on the thin side. They are a soft cashmire, but the threads used for the weave are thin, resulting in a thinner glove. They are warm enough though and considering the price, a worthwhile purchase.
