My husband just loves this rainwear. The quality is excellent and it looks just like, if not better than, the *** jackets. The lining is beautiful and warm. The outer material is rich looking, we couldn't be more pleased. It is very nice quality for a great price and he is very pleased. It doesn't look like rainwear.

Excellent coat for dressy winter occasions or urban lifestyle! Can handle snow/rain without a problem. Very warm, even though it's not too thick/heavy. Note that I had to order one size smaller than I usually order outerwear.

My husband has had a version of this jacket from the eighties or maybe even earlier. It has held up amazingly. When I saw it I decided to get him another one in a different color. He has a very straight, slim build and usually wears a medium in outerwear. I noted that the description advised that you should order up a size and that was correct. The jacket even in the larger size (Large) still fit very close to the body. Anyone who is not very slim should even consider going up 2 sizes.

I began looking for another light wait jacket when my favorite finally gave out after 15 years. I tend to be a bit warm blooded and wear short sleeve shirts the majority of the year. I was looking for a jacket just a bit heavier than a windbreaker, that could knock the chill off between 30F & 45F. This jacket fits that perfectly. If you are cold natured, it would be great for warmer. It is light weight and functions perfectly as transitional outerwear. The fabric is very nice, as is the workmanship. I highly recommend.

Otay, I love the coat and it fits like a glove...but the coat AND the suit I bought with it weighed in at 9 lbs total...so while I look good (***, I look GREAT) I fear freezing my buttocks off. That said, the suit is made of a light fabric and the overcoat is fairly substantial. My old overcoat weighs in by itself in the ten pound range (I'm a big guy) Not cold enough yet in Boston to test how this coat will stand up to a real New England winter (but it looks like we're going to have a 'real winter' this year...probably with snow by Thanksgiving, ***, it snowed yesterday (no accumulation)) Probably worried about nothing but if I freeze I'll amend this review to reflect that outcome (with full reporting...If I freeze and it's twenty below then I deserve it, it's not that variety of outerwear. It's intended to look sharp while keeping the chill off while you walk to your car, not go hiking in the Appalachians.

I finally got the 2XL when the XL which I usually wear did not work out at all. The customer service department was good about it all. It seems on coats here, it is a throw of the dice if you will get something that fits right to normal standard sizes...BEWARE of this ...I have ordered different coats and jackets from this site.
