I was looking for an overcoat to wear with the many outfits that i had bought on O.com. When i took it out of the box i thought this is going to wear well with the tuxedo i had bought a few months earlier. When i wore it to a couple of functions over my tux many compliments were on how nice i looked in my outfit. Then when i had told a couple of people how much the price of my total look was they couldn't believe it. But i was thinking to myself that the overcoat was the icing on the cake. Thank you O.com you put another feather in my cap!

Incredible deal... was set to be disappointed, but was struck down by the quality, style and durability of the product. i have receiveded so many compliments on the jacket. People can't believe price and that I got it online. Great product.

The jacket was better then I thought it would be, and not only is it warm but it's also comfortable. I would recommend this jacket to everyone who has a cold winter and I also feel that this will be a product that will be passed down for generations to come. That is how durable I believe this jacket will be. Although I live in the southeast, I go to the northeast and the north for the winter weather.

I bought this for my husband but I find myself stealing it from him once in a while! It is well made and it is warm. Took Xmas decorations down on a windy rainy day and never was the least bit cold. Great jacket!

I needed a new shorter length rain coat, and I debated about this one for several days. I love it! The coat is stylish and timeless, the perfect length, and a good investment. One down side, it has buttons, so beware if you are looking for a zippered coat - I don't mind.

Purchased for husband's Christmas gift...he loved it and so did I. Gr8 detail, fit and weight quality, styling was right on point...dress up or down. Looked @ others similar and they were not as nice but were double the price....

This is a steal for the price - it's a very good quality coat from the leather down to the details. There is a furry zip out lining that has slashes so the wearer can still access the two breast pockets in the coat. The coat lining is slightly quilted and good quality also. I have seen jackets with no zip out linine for more than this coat.

This is a great coat... stylish and casually elegant. I am returning the one I bought for my partner, because the coat is way too large. (He has been undergoing chemotherapy and is down to a fragile 120 pounds -- hard to know what size to buy.) Therefore, I cannot comment on the accuracy of the sizing. However, it IS a very attractive jacket -- the quality is evident and it is a good value for the money.

The coat I received is not the coat pictured online. I agree with another reviewer, the "stand up" collar is a "flop down collar" The collar looks like droopy rabbit ears. Too bad because everything else is fine. I'd like to think the product I buy is accurately pictured. I feel ripped off and have to pay return shipping.

I estimated a larger fitting so i ordered a size down from my usual and it fits very well. I noticed that there was no draw string and that the Shearling is much lighter than the one in the photo. Apart from that i am super happy and delivery was quick considering i live in New Zealand i received my product the following week and the price was a Steal!!!.

The other reviews kind of say it all. The jackets run small, so order one size up. Once you get rid of the faux shearling collar, it's not a bad looking item. The leather is on the stiff side, but it should break in. My jacket has a very minor hole on one of the sleeves, but it wasn't worth the trouble of retuning it. What it all comes down to is: YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR.

Arrived in a very timely manner and quality was very good. We ordered one size down based on reviews and it was a little snug compared to what my son usually wears, but still fit ok. Overall, it was an excellent value for a very nice jacket. o

This jacket has a very nice weight and moves pretty well--not too stiff. The colors are much more pronounced than in the photos and its VERY shiny; not as distressed as it seems. Wiping it down with a little rubbing alcohol took care of the sheen. The brass "fixtures" are great looking, as is the diagonal zipper. I like it.

I pulled this thing out of the box and was unsure at first. I really struggled getting it on despite ordering a 48, which is actually a size up from all of my 46L suits. I finally was able to get it on over a button down shirt, but I felt like Chris Farley during the "Fat Guy In A Little Coat" scene from Tommy Boy. It was just too small, especially considering I would have liked to put it over my suit on some occasions. So, throw a suit jacket on and then try to put it on? Wouldn't happen.. that is, without splitting the seams. With that being said, when I did get it on and take a look in the mirror, it has a great look hovering perfectly between casual and dressy, and could easily be dressed up or down to what you'd like it to be on that occasion. If I were able to put aside the fact that this was supposed to be knee-length, the belt settled somewhere between my naval and nipples, and I was exposing at least 5-6 inches of wrist; I would have given this 5 stars. I'm going to return it, but I think I will take a chance sizing up at least 2 sizes. If I can get the size down right, this will be a great jacket for the money.

Protects from chill on a motorcycle down to about 50 degrees, has plenty of great pockets with zippers, is made of soft good quality leather, and fits nicely; though I did order a size larger than normal as recommended herein. The sleeves were extra long and work well for motorcycle use as they tend to cover the entire arm even when the arm is extended. I would definitely recommend this jacket as a great value.

I purhcased this jacket for my husband who is a big fan of leather jackets. When it came in the mail, I realized that the leather was of very low quality, it was very stiff and aged very quickly over time. The sizing was also off. The hip size was extremely wide and the arm length was for someone with extremely short arms. They don't follow standard US sizing. The zipper also fell off after zipping it up and down for a week. I would highly recommend against purchasing from Amerileather.

Simple classic and comfy, made of thick hard wearing wool. I'm not crazy about the construction at the sleeve hem, but it's good. DO NOT ORDER LARGER THAN YOU ARE. I am a 42, often 44, and I took a risk and ordered 42. It is extremely generous and honestly a bit big. I could wear two suits and a sweater and this still button up, and able to grasp a big heaping handful of fabric at the waist. I wouldn't order down, though. Just know this is cut roomy, and order your actual size at your fittest. You can easily find room for another 15-20lbs in here.

I purchased the coat as a gift for my tall husband who was looking for something extra warm and long enough to reach down to his knees. Fits comfortably over his business suit and now he's ready for cold weather days or nights. He's a fussy dresser, so I am always nervous about any clothing purchase, but this one was a winner, and my husband couldn't be happier with the purchase! He's soft and cuddly to snuggle up to when he wears his new wool and cashmere coat...I know I won't be looking forward to warmer weather...and that's a first! This has been a great find at a great price!

My wife suggested this jacket to me when she was doing some shopping. First, you can't beat the price...Having said that, the leather and design are classic and rugged. Everything you would expect from a bomber jacket. The leather is that stiff quality that breaks itself in with wear, and ens up looking like a vintage piece that someone would pay hundreds to aquire. One small thing: I found the sizing to be a tad big. I normally find XL fits me perfectly in a jacket, but this jacket is a bit roomy in the stomach and waste... Maybe consider going down a size if you're not thick across the middle. All and all this jacket is a fantastic steal!

got it in today and out the bag it looked good.the first thing i noticed was the smell.it had a funny smell.then when i put it on it sounded like i was throwing a canapy over my back.the leather is very stiff and not sure how long it will take to soften.the jacket loooks great while standing.almost perfect but it has alot of other problems.when you sit down the shoulders pop up giving it a box shape.its a little loose around the waist but not too bad.the collar is too high up the neck making it look tacky.overall i rate it 2 stars.besides all the problems the jacket looks great on almost perfect but i will be returning it.
