    I was looking for a coat that didn't make me look like a baby bear, and I found it. I'm 5"2 with 45" hips and med. size waist and it's a challenge finding the right fit for my height as well as my hip and breast. I purchased a coat from another company plus went up a size and the coat as lovely as it was unfortunately didn't fit, bummer. Now for the happy plus more, this coat fits great and made me look slimmer and I didn't have too roll up the sleeves. So I without a doubt I highly recommend this "lovely Coat". :-)

    This coat is BEAUTIFUL. I am 5'6", 135 pounds and wear a 6 in regular clothes. I would normally take an 8 in a winter coat to accommodate for bulky sweaters. I could see that this coat was cut for juniors sizing (for some reason I based it on the model and on the "velvet heart" website) so I bought the large which is why I said the product runs small because I would normally never wear a large in outerwear. I'm glad I got the large because it fits perfectly and will allow for big, bulky sweaters without being too overwhelming on my frame. The color teal is gorgeous and I love how the neck can close up like a turtleneck but if left open, lays like an open color. On my 5'6" height, it comes longer than on the model pictured (mid thigh) which for me in NYC is the perfect length for a late fall/winter coat. Overall I am very pleased with this purchase. The quality is great. It's a nice heavy (warm) coat without being overwhelming on me and the stitching around the pockets and cuffs along ...
