Great price for such nice boots. I like the zip on the side for easy in and out. Plus you can tighten the laces for confort or if you wear a heavier or thinner sock. They look great with jeans or a long skirt. The heal is a comfortable height for walking.

I have to second the reviewer who noted that these boots were "cute but uncomfortable" ... that quite accurately sums it up. I purchased the camel color which was true to the picture and exactly the color I wanted, however these boots were so stiff and tight that I was wondering if I'd actually be able to stand upright and walk! I'm certainly glad that I purchased them a half size larger than I usually wear. Once you get past the initial shock of how stiff the leather is, they are fairly easy to walk in. I decided to keep them and hope the leather loosens up a bit, which is usually the case with most shoes. As long as you're willing to do that, then these boots will likely be fine. They are quite stylish if not entirely comfortable.

These shoes look great - the leather does not look cheap and the color's great (I got the camel color), but the leather is really stiff. You have to wear socks that rise over the top of the boots because they'll scratch the side of your legs. It felt like I was wearing a pair of hard rubber rain boots! I'm hoping they will soften up with wear, but honestly, if I had tried these on in a store and felt the stiffness of the leather I would not have purchased them.

these boots are too cute! i got the camel color and they came in perfect condition. but the more i wear them the better they look! seriously the way they are distressing is pretty hip! very sturdy and high quality. im sure if i woulda put leather protector on they would still look brand new.....but im totally digging the lived in look of these babies!

The leather is stiff, but some leather treatment does wonders. They are well made, comfy and good looking!

I don't normally wear anything with heels but love the look of boots with heels. These are actually very comfortable and stylish, especially considering they are high heels! Like the boots a lot.

The boots arrived in a timely manner. I was a little disappointed - the leather was hard and the size was too large for an 8 1/2. The look is great, guess I'll just use them with some thick socks. Next time I'll buy a smaller size. They are okay for the price.

This was the first time I have ever purchased an item at Overstock. I have viewed your website many times but was reluctant to purchase. I took a chance and purchased the Women's Lace up boots in the camel color. They are beautiful!! The color of the boot was just like it was pictured. The fit runs a little big - I ordered my exact size. They are comfortable to wear and look very stylish. I received exactly what I wanted!

I am very pleased overall. Good Boot of quality and low price. A bit stiff, but used mink oil to soften the leather. I got a quality gel sole insert which make the boot more comfortable. I am very satisfied overall which keeps me shopping at OS.

Based on prior reviews, I ordered half a size up and really had no problems with them being uncomfortable. They were a bit stiff at first around the ankle but a few times of wearing them has fixed that and now they are some of my favorites!

Having read the reviews for these boots, I was concerned about the stiffness of the leather, but they were comfortable for me right from the start. In fact, I wore them Christmas shopping all day the first time I put them on, and was just fine. At this price, they are a nice addition to any boot wardrobe.

After reading all the reviews about the stiffness of the leather, I agonized for a couple weeks because I really loved the look of these boots -- and wanted them. Then, low and behold almost as if by accident, an overstock email coupon for 10% off arrived and I decided to take the plunge. I purchased them in brown, size 8.5. The boots are true to color and size. They are made of a thick leather, and - yes, it's stiff...but no stiffer than a new pair of Ropers or cowboy boots. I immediatly rubbed them down with Bick 4 leather conditioner (saddle soap would do the same thing) and they feel softer already and look a bit deeper brown. They have a 3" heel, so read all the dimensions carefully (I must have overlooked that). I am not used to a heel higher than 2.5" but a gel insole to pad the ball of my foot made them comfortable enough for a normal day of wear and walking. You can also loosten the laces to control the tension around your ankle. They look great with jeans and hubby loves them too (especially the heel height<rolleyes>). This is a great price for boots with all leather uppers. I plan to order another pair in black.

Lovely looking boot. Bought them in camel. They are true to size! As others I found them quite a stiff leather,but have leather spray on hand for all my leather items, and found they softned up a bit,and are very comfortable.Great boot.

Although nice in appearance, I found the leather of these boots to be so stiff I can't imagine trying to wear them. Also, they were both too long and too wide in my standard shoe size. I returned them the next day.

Got these in camel for wearing with jeans & cords; great color; true to size; love the side zip-up; great value; may have to buy a pair in another color.
