I have to agree with the previous reviewer... while its elegant .. the color is not red (like it's shown in the picture) but more of a dull maroon.

I purchased this in the red. It is a lovely clutch bag -- great for taking to dinner at night when one doesn't want an oversize shopping tote. The red color is a muted but deep red -- very rich looking. And the detail on the leather makes it very rich looking. I can't believe what a good price for which this was offered. I just purchased a clutch of similar size and quality at a local store and paid nearly twice the price. Don't even hesitate about purchasing this one!!

I just love this clutch! It's stylish, and has lots of space. Perfect for any occasion.

I recently received this clutch and am generally satisfied with the product. The purse seems of very high quality and is well made. However, the color is a bit different than displayed in the picture of the product description. It is not a bright red but more a slightly dirty, almost burgundy or washed-out red.
