Black Leather
I am not a big fan of shiny leather. Also this was the first time I tried to walk in 4inch heels. It hurt the ball of my foot as there is no padding there in the boot. I returned them.

Great Boots
I was looking for black boots with a slightly higher heel and came across this one. When I first tried them on, I was discouraged because I couldn't get the shaft of the boot over my right calf. Plus, the zipper doesn't go all the way up the shaft, but measures just 6 inches from the ankle on up. I waited a few days and tried again. They fit great-- you have to give the leather time to stretch and "give" a little to fit. I wore them to work and they are comfortable and look great with tights and skirts.
