These shoes are very cute when they aren't on your feet. I bought them for my daughter who is 3. They are very difficult to keep from falling over where they are suppose to be around her calf. We are constantly having to re-adjust them. I'm sure they would be great for someone a child that is a little older, but for us they are somewhat of a hassle.

Boots were very nice and reasonably priced; however, they do not seem to remain closed when tied. There is no zipper or velcro to keep the back of the boot or the front flap (tongue) from opening once you tie the wrap around cords. Since this is a child's boot, an additional "closure" should have been added to the boot so they do not appear "sloppy".

These boots are cute when tied loosely as pictured. However, those ties are the only thing securing the boot to the foot. I was hoping for a bit of elastic as you might find in a slip-on shoe but that string is all you get. When they are tied loosely they slip right off the foot. When they are tied tightly the material bunches up strangely and the boot does not look nearly as cute. Also, the soles of these boots feel a bit more 'plastic' than I expected. I'm not sure they'll provide the traction we need up here in the PNW. In a drier climate that might be less of an issue. Overall, these boots are cute and might work. They just aren't as cute or functional as I had hoped.

My daughter loves the boots, that's all she wants to wear, the only thing that "I don't like it's that I have to go around and around with the shoelaces a couple of times."

I got these boots for my daughters. I bought both colors. They look great and my kids love them. I'm not sure what the previous reviewer was suggesting with them not staying up. When they grow out of these, I will probably buy the next size bigger. I looked everywhere for these types of boots for my girls that weren't too $$$. I found them here

Poor quality, hard to stay up on children... Don't Buy!!!! Very disappointed, Overstock needs to give a more thorough description of items!!

The only reason I didn't give 5 stars on all is because these were a Christmas gift and not sure if they're as comfortable as they look. The quality of the boots looks very good.

My daughter loves the boots. They are very cute, and fit her well. She says they are very comfortable.

As another reviewer pointed out, the flaps don't stay closed well. And because the string used to tie them has pom-poms, they frequently get tangled. That said, they were a great value and are very cute. My daughter really likes them.

I bought these boots for my 9 year old and while she liked the look of them and the soft lining was extremely comfortable, she coudn't keep it tied so for that reason she was a little disappointed.
