I'm not sure why the buckle was so scratched? Possibly packing? I did not return because the belt was very inexpensive, so I just sucked it up.

belt came apart from. apparently the fake leather backing was glued to the front part of the belt and after being worn only twice it was loose from the front of the belt and unwearable.

My husband loved his new belt. Most of his belts tend to break after a while, but this one is strong and sturdy and looks great. He wears it for more black tie occasions.

I purchased the belt for my growing 13 year old son and it was a great fit for him.He can wear this belt with casual clothing or his more dressy attire.He was so elated because this is his first grown style belt.

Previous reviews regarding the scratched buckle are right on; however, since that was not the main reason for purchasing the belt, I went ahead and ordered it. Overall, the belt fits fine and the leather quality is very good. I don't believe the buckle detracts much from the appearance and use. It's a good value for the price if you're not too picky about a few scratches on the buckle.

I bought this for my boyfriend for Christmas. The quality is great! My boyfriend wears it everyday. He says its very light weight and goes with both jeans and khakis.

The buckle on the belt is painted with a gold finish and it arrived scratched and nicked. It looks horrible. The belt itself looks nice and appears to be a good material.

I've ordered two belts as Christmas presents - one in black and one in brown. I was very disappointed with this order. The buckles are not shiny; they are full of scratches as they were worn. And the stitches aren¿t well done.
