Pleasantly surprised
I had low expectations, because of the low low price and the fact that I had never heard of "mountrek" before. When these hiking shoes arrived they fit well and looked good. They are comfortable to wear all day and they seem to be sufficiently waterproof. My experience is that the quality can only truely be evaluated by the lifespan of the hiking shoes, so I cannot yet how long they last, but so far so good!

These boots are very sportive for both my ankle and heal I had a fracture heal and find it difficulty in finding comfortable boots or shoes to wear.
