I hemmed and hawwed over this purchase for over a week, and really had my heart set on the other Miss Sixty purple wool coat- the one that was more military style with the higher collar. BUT, due to my broad shoulders and long arms, I need an XL, and that coat doesn't come in an XL.I got this coat in the mail today, and all I can say is I'm thrilled! It's really feminine on, the fit is perfect, the belt around the waist is really cute, and you can cinch the wrists in at the sleeves, which just gives it an even cuter detail (sorry, I keep saying cute, but this coat is really cute!).The one thing I worried about is what the collar would look like standing up. I like that New York style tall collar button up coat look. It looks awesome with the collar up, and it stays really well. Nice and tall, but not too tall. The pockets in the front are in the perfect place to keep your hands warm and in a comfortable position. The pleat detailing is adorable, both on the front and the back. The coat is also slimming, even though it's a thick, heavy wool.I can totally see wearing this with a dark denim knee skirt, black leather flat knee-high boots and a fun colorful scarf. The color, although purple, is more of a navy purple than fuschia purple, if that makes any sense. I thought it was actually navy when I pulled it out of the box, but I guess you can see it either way. It's definitely purple, but not a bright or saturated purple, so if you want a really purple coat you might be disappointed. They include extra buttons, the coat is designed really well, clearly high quality.Seriously, if you are on the fence about buying this like I was, just get it, you won't regret it!
