This is one of two coats I ordered from Overstock, and by far this one is the best. I bought this one on a whim, and was concerned, before it arrived, that the pleating in back would make my butt look wider. But it doesn't--the shape is actually very flattering. Somehow, it fits me just right--it's close-fitting and tailored enough to look really stylish and not bulky, like a lot of coats do. The shape is really flattering. I bought it in blue (the color is perfect and vibrant) and in a size small (I'm 5'2"). In fact, I wish I had gotten the black version of this coat, too, instead of the other black coat I had purchased, which does not fit as well as this coat. This is the first Miss Sixty coat I have purchased, and I have a feeling that it will not be the last.
This coat is soooo east coast rich. Super figure flattering and comfortable. I wear the coat with my jeans and high heels and it looks very chic. The length is perfect.
I loved this coat, only that it comes small. Order one size larger.
great Price, Quick shipping.. Love Miss Sixty clothing.. Fashionable and perfect!
This is nicely shaped and fits me well (I'm 5'2" and 100 lbs. so I ordered the small). It's warm and comfortable (I like the hood) but also feminine-looking and classy--a nice blend of practical and attractive.
I read the reviews for all the Miss Sixty coats before ordering mine. Majority of the reviewers had said the coats run small. I'm 5'2, 115 lbs, 34 bust, 26 waist, 36 hips, which according to the size chart is a small or size 6. I wear small in most brands, xs in some women's brands, but usually don't fit into xs in juniors (stores like Guess). So, I ordered size small.. and I am SWIMMING in it. It's big everywhere. Under the armpits is big, so every time i lift my arms the jacket rises. The waist is huge, and I don't have a small waist to begin with, it's big compared to the rest of my measurements. I took the coat to a taylor to see what she can do. She said she would try to the best of her ability to take it in as much as she could without making the coat look awkward. We had to take a total 4 inches in on the waist, and she had to make the sleeves smaller too because she took it in everywhere from the armpit down to the bottom. Don't go up a size for layering unless you plan on wearing 4 sweaters underneath. If you think this coat runs SMALL, you are in denial. As for the style and quality, it looks good, has larger stitching at the seams, the pleat detail in the back is cute and unique, the wool isn't heavyweight but warm enough. I'm wearing it as a winter coat, but I usually don't wear thick winter coats. I don't really recommend it as a winter coat for temperatures below 0 celsius (or 32 F).
i shopped around forever for a good black pea coat, and i finally found it!i think we're all a little nervous buying online, since we don't get the chance to try it on.but, this is an awesome coat! it came rather quickly too. i think the only dillemas i have with the coat is the lining for the coat pockets is rather thin, and one has already broke away from the seam..an easy fix, but happened sooner than i wanted. it also attracts quite a bit of fuzzies, but overall, it's warm, fitted, hooded (love the hood!), great value, and looks awesome on!
Love this coat! It is very stylish and looks beautiful on. Not the warmest coat in the world, but on those days when it's not real cold, it's perfect. Great with boots!
This coat is not boxy, heavy, or boring. It's appropriate for mild winters (like in SoCal, where I live), and the detailing and stitching set it apart from the million other pea coats out there. I would say it runs true to size and is unusually flattering for a winter coat. My only complaint, and it's minor, is that I wish it came in other colors---like red or green or camel. I'm very happy with this coat, though!
I first ordered this in a Medium. I returned it and now own the Large. The medium was too tight across the back and upper arms. After trying on maybe 20+ different coats, I think this runs true to size. I do know some of the Miss Sixty's are cut a little narrow- but not this coat. I'm 5'2, very curvy. The arm and coat length are perfect. The detailing in the front is very slimming. I really like the pleats in the back. They accentuate my rear end (not make it look like I'm pulling the pleats-a problem I tend to have). I'm happy I reordered.
Great jacket; well-tailored and sewn; hits right at the top of my legs (I'm 5'3, 115 pounds and ordered a small), so some of my tunics stick out the bottom. The buttons on the shoulders can get in the way of my purse strap, but it's not that annoying for a great coat. The pockets are deep and located right where my arms fall naturally. I can wear sweaters underneath comfortably.
This is a great coat, fits a petite frame very well. I had to order a size down from what I normally wear because the cut of the coat is a little large.
My daughter was thrilled to find exactly what she wanted. We had been looking elsewhere for a while and on a whim she checked out OS.com. The process was just as easy as ordering from a big name store but the prices were soooo much better. The best part, a girl she didn't know in her high school approached her and asked her where she got her coat since it was exactly what she was looking for. Next time we'll check here first.
