"Thin Skinned"
The "skin" on the light grey shoe is VERY, VERY thin and after a MINOR bump on something with the toe of one of my new shoes, the "skin" peeled off leaving white underneath. The edges of the shoe started showing wear (skin rubs off!!) after 2 wears. Though the shoe is very attractive (after I carefully cut off the ankle straps...I'm over 20 and not at all goth..) and very comfortable, I doubt this shoe will look good after 10 wearings.
