Mia Women's 'Xara' Leather Riding Boots FINAL SALE

This is a really cute boot and I love the color, however the fit is really awkward. I had no problem the first time I wore the boots. However, after that I am now unable to put my right boot on unless I don't wear a sock. It's really difficult to get my foot into the boot. The obstruction starts right where my heel goes into the boot. Very weird. Other buyers have made a similar comment. I would love these if not for the fit problem.

I looked all of this past winter as well as the last and couldn't find what I wanted and didn't want to settle. One of my biggest things about any shoe I buy is they have to be comfortable above all else. These fit the bill of everything I wanted to a T. I actually wanted a zipper side for ease but these are easy to get off and on without one so I really don't care. There is plenty of room in the calf. I tried on a lot in the store that I couldn't get zipped and I don't have oversized calves. I love them and so glad I took the chance and ordered them and the price can't be beat! I think the more I wear them and get them broken in the better.

I purchased the boots before I had a chance to read the reviews and I wish I would of done so prior to. They are very accurate. The first thing I noticed when I received the boots, is that color is slightly different than the picture shown. They are a dark brown rather than the burnt orangey brown. The size was kinda odd. I feel like the right shoe is slightly bigger and more loose than the left. The leather is pretty thick, but not very soft or flexible. Another thing that bugs me is that the fit around the ankle is loose. I like my boots to fit snug, especially around the ankle, but it's not the case with these. Considering I only paid $$$ {including shipping}, I can't complain too much, but if you want to invest in a great pair of boots, I definitely suggest around $100 budget and purchasing them at the store, because if to ship them back wouldn't have cost me an arm and leg, I would of returned them.
