Since overstock doesn't allow updated reviews, I decided to write a review on this shoe since it's the same shoe but different color. I finally tried on the (tan) pair of shoes and the size is way off! The shoe has on it that these are a size 9 but in fact the size is a size and 1/2 too large! Misleading size and the shoe comes bigger than what it is supposed to be. These are a size 10 1/2-11 in men's not 9s. Be careful when ordering Ariders. The shoes are very stylish and nice, but they should not make shoes to compensate or make up for different types of feet. Make shoes according to what the actual size really is.

I had to have steel toe shoes/boots for work. I bought both. I have poor circulation in my feet and wanted to be comfortable for summer and winter. I love my boots and I hate these shoes. I wasn't sure how to buy a man's size shoe. I also was not sure of the width of men's shoes. I normally wear a ladies 8M. But I wanted to have room in my shoes and boots for my heavier socks. In these shoes, I originally ordered a 7M in men's. Very tight width and length. (Mind you they say between a man and woman's sizing to go 1 1-2 to 2 sizes in difference). I only went 1 size different. But as I said, very tight. I went up 1-2 size and went to a wide width. They fit much nicer. So be careful if you are a woman trying to buy a man's shoe. I only ended up going down a 1-2 size and going wider. I feel the end of the steel in the shoe. This makes them uncomfortable and I thought being from New Balance that there would be much better comfort. Yea, not so much. On a side note, I was also upset that the original pair was purchased during one of their sales. Needing to do the exchange, I lost the sale price, plus had to pay return shipping, etc.. I will think twice about ordering something that I may be unsure about from Overstock. Hazzle if it is not exactly what is needed.

A handsome boot that feels great on your feet. Adds about 1 inch of height to you. Good quality. Pairs nicely with any attire.

Overall, I am very happy with these shoes. The quality seems to be really good. My only complaints are: 1) the sizing is about a half inch bigger than my actual shoe size so you may want to order a half inch smaller than your actual shoe size. 2) the bottom of the shoes are red and leaves red scuff marks on tile and other hard surfaces.

Love the fit I bought them a half size larger and this was the right decision I wear a us size 10 and got this shoe in a 10 1/2. The extra 1/2 inch gives toes room, but does not make the shoe slide on my foot. and is comfortable both with and sans socks.

ordered a us size 8.5 which is approx. an eleven inch shoe, shoes were marked 8.5 us but actually measure thirteen inches. That's two inches larger than size stamped in shoes. I returned this pair and was sent an replacement pair. second pair was one inch larger, I gave up getting the correct size returned both pairs and cancelled my order. Shoes were great but marked poor due to "if the shoe doesn't fit you cant wear them"!

I bought the wrong size so I return the shoe. I asked Customer Service if I could get the same shoe but 1/2 size larger. They said yes but I have to return the shoe. I filled up all the documents and return the shoes. The problem was I bought the shoe with the Christmas discount but when I looked up the shoe price it was back to it's normal cost. I talked to Customer Service and they said they would help be get the same shoe 1/2 size larger with the Christmas discount. I sent the shoes back and when they receive it I would be shipped the new size. NOT. In a few days I got the credit which I didn't want but at least I got the credit. I never got the same shoes with the new size.

Most comfortable shoe I've ever worn. Recommendation to buy 1/2 size up is correct as the wooden soles don't give, shoes are loose and comfortable at that size but stay on. Easy to slip in and out of, I wear them to work on occasion as they look dressy enough to do so.

These shoes are not to be mistaken for OSHA-ANSI standard safety shoes. I often do work around the house and yard that put my feet/toes in the way potential harm. They are light weight and comforable. Always increase your size 1/2 to one full size to make up for the steel toe and/or heavy socks. If you wear them often and do alot of walking on pavement they may have a reduced life. If you need a true safety shoe you'll have to spend at least twicw as much. Urban Skeptic

I could have gotten better shoes at walmart for cheaper. The shoes are cheaply made, It says the outsole is slip and oil resistant and makes it sound so good. but in reality the sole is hard rubber with a quarter inch of oil/slip resistant soft rubber which as peeling as soon as I pulled it out of the box. A little bit of shoe goo fixed that right up but I shouldn't have had to fix a shoe as soon as I get it. I on't be ordering them again.

I bought these as a gift for my boyfriend. He had been wanting slip on shoes like these for a long time but we could only come across house slippers, never actual outside wearable shoes, but these are fantastic. He loves them!! This is a wonderful alternative to the more expense sheepskin brand we are most familiar with, these are just as great in quality. As for sizing, my boyfriend is usually a 10 but since these are pretty well insulated with the faux fur inside he had to go with an 11 to have a more comfortable fit. I'd suggest going 1/2 size up.

Nice shoes and they looked great out of the box. Nice quality for the price. My only issue is the sizing. My boyfriend is usually a 10.5 or a 10 if shoes run large. I bought him the 10.5 for Christmas, but they had about an extra inch of room in the toe box, but the width was perfect. He tried them out for a few days and tied the laces tightly to make sure they would stay on but they still ended up slipping out in the back because of how large they were. Exchanged them and the 10 was too narrow and not comfortable. Great price but it was a shame that they were so long:(

The Propet Camp Walker Hi was a wonderful surprise. I have worn boots(mostly traditional leather 8 inch lace up) for work and everyday footwear for almost 40 years and was not expecting much from a pair of flimsy tennyboots(my term for tennis shoe looking boots) that my wife purchased for me. Wow, was I ever wrong! As a large guy (250+) with 4-6 E width foot I am used to quickly running over or breaking down a pair of boots. The Camp Walkers fit me perfectly, both in length and width (13 5E), were comfortable from the first moment I laced them up. They weigh a third of my normal boots yet give me all the support and stability I need. They do well in wet environments as advertised. I would recommend these boots.

This is the first pair of boots I'd bought in quite a while. I took my time in researching exactly what I wanted and decided on the Durango Brown Frontier Leather Harness. I am extremely pleased with my purchase! These boots are sturdy, high-quality and very comfortable. Most importantly, they are sexy as all get-up! They're a great combination of style and rugged simplicity. I wear a standard size 9 1/2 and I had read reviews saying that they either ran small or large so I was a little trepidatious but when I put them on, they fit perfectly. They are a little tricky getting on due to the design but the side straps give plenty of help. I would absolutely recommend these boots!

You should also wear the socks you plan to wear with your shoes. Have a friend trace your foot on a piece of paper, so you can stand up straight. Find the width of your foot, and then measure your other foot; use the measurements from the largest foot when referring to the shoe size conversion table.
