The dress is sparkly and in low light, you could overlook some of the things that are not so desireable about it. I didn't like that the edges of the neck were unfinished, but the material was decent.

The dress is cute, fit true to size, but I am 5' 6" and the empire waist hit me a few inches too low. It wasn't quite as low as the natural waist, but somewhere in between. I am a little smaller on top than bottom, so I ordered an 8, but if I were a few inches taller, so the empire waist was under the bust, it would have been perfect. Because of the wrapped piece on top, I couldn't simply shorten the straps (if you are skilled or want to go to a tailor, it might work for you). The style is unique and the silver color is nice--not too disco ball, but not too muted.
