What you see is what you get, a good quality boot. I run between 8 and 81/2 so went with the size 8. Good fit and very comfortable. The leather is soft enough that it stretches pretty quickly with any tight spots. The color is a matte espresso brown, not shiny at all.
- How did the color on site compare with the actual product? a bit lighter brown than the photo depicts (truly an espresso color rather than the 'dark french roast' in the photo)

It's a really nice boot but I should have gone a half size down. It ran a little long. If you are between sizes go a half size down unless you're going to wear it with thick socks.

Great looking boots - a bit narrow, though
Great looking boots and soft on the inside - unusual for this kind of boot! I thought they seemed a bit snug, width-wise, so I used shoe stretchers and they are fine. I wear 8.5. Don't know if going up to a 9 would've fixed this, but since they were final sale, I just stretched mine. I would still recommend them.

These boots are perfect with some skinnys! Glad i took advantage of this sale. Not too plain, not too hipster, just right. And ive worn them while bartending and cocktailing and my feet never hurt so big plus.
