Amazing boots!
I got these boots at the recommendation of a friend. They are a little uncomfortable the first couple of times you wear them, but as soon as they are broken in, they are amazingly comfortable! They have a super-high shaft - I am 5'11", and these boots are very nearly at my knees (maybe 1-2cm short). Since it's so hard to find boots this height, I love them! For the price, these are an incredible value.

These boots are amazing. I have been searching for the perfect boot for a long time and these are them--perfect quality, color, height, and calf circumference. Also, Overstock has the best customer service, so buy these boots here!

Nice tall boots!
Since these are such tall boots, I wish they were zippered rather than pull-ons. The fact that they are a pull-on type requires the shaft and opening to be wide enough for the foot and leg to go through. This, for me, means that the shaft opening is too wide for my skinny calves! This, in a zippered boot, would have been a very classy boot and would have earned all five stars. So, while these are well-made good looking boots, they are four-star boots for me. I would probably buy these again and would recommend them to a friend.

nice boot
This is a very nice boot and I would have been very happy with it if they would have sent me the correct size. I ordered an 8.5 but the boots inside thebox was 8. Needless to say I just sent them back and got a refund.

Matisse "Big River" boots
Since I can wear an 8.5 or 9 depending on the shoe I chanced it with 8.5 and it is perfect. The leather is soft and supple but not slumpy. I have a bit of slump at the ankle but that is due to my freakish shaped calves not the boots. Once the lower calf is stretched a bit more they will be even more perfect. Highly recommend these boots. First time I wore them I scuffed them but that was due to not having polished them before wearing. I would recommend a good quality polish, shine and waterproofing since I have now polished them and I can rub scuffs out as the occur. Can't say enough about how I love these boots. Didn't even have a breaking in period, no blisters from the very first wearing.

LOVE these boots
I ordered these boots because my daughter had already bought a pair and LOVED them. Once I saw them I knew already that I wanted a pair so I ordered them. I usually don't have good luck with slip on boots but these slipped on so easily. I'm usually a true size 9 and the fit was perfect. They were a bit snug in the width when I first put them on but that's to be expected with leather dress boots at first until they are broke in. They even fit easily over my denim jeans which I never thought they would. I bought them to wear over leggings and also to wear for dress. But they certainly would dress up a nice pair of jeans too !! I can't say enough good things about these boots.
