I read previous reviews and although I normally wear size 8 top and 6 bottom, I ordered a size 10 because I have large breasts and broad shoulders. I think the coat is actually true to size. I should have ordered size 8. I kept the 10 and had the arm length shortened but I think I should have exchanged it for the smaller size. Oh well, I can wear a big warm sweater under it.

It was what I expected ,different style .I like it .The only think is the size ,My size is med ,but for this coat you should take smaller than your size .,other than it is very nice coat and warm .My husband like it very much

I love this coat and couldn't wait to find an excuse to wear it. it fit perfectly, i'm 5'7" 135lbs, and I feel like it was tailored to me (i bought a 6). I love the stand up collar, and that it had pockets! the pockets are there...just sewn shut. This coat is super soft and well lined, I may replace the buttons at some point though - they are cheap and don't match the coat, wood ones would look awesome. But this coat is great nonetheless.

I purchased this coat in the cream color winter of 07. I ordered it in a size 4, because I wear most coats in that size. The material is very nice, but it was definitely roomy. I had my tailor take it in about 4 inches on both sides, because I wanted more of a fitted look instead of a swing coat look. Also I shortened the sleeves and changed out the buttons. I should mention that I tailor a lot of my clothes, because I like to customize them to myself. Overall, I was very satisfied with my purchase.

I purchased this coat based on the recommendation of another overstock review and I love love love the coat. I purchased the Ivory in a size 6 (I am 5'6" and weigh 132lbs) and the fit is great- I wish the sleeves were a little longer, but I have unusually long arms. I received a lot of complements and stares from on-lookers. The coat keeps warmer than it looks (I live in NYC) and the flare at the bottom is just lovely. I purchased it at a low price and I also had a coupon so it was a great deal. If you are interested in a unique classic look, this is the coat to purchase. The pictures do not do it justice.

the material is nice, and was a good concept, but the spread on the bottom was huge. i look like a hippo with a size 6 coat. the pockets are fake and nonfunctional. im returning this.

I was really excited when this coat came back in Black, as I almost settled for the eggplant. The material is very nice, and the price is unbeatable. I really shopped around form a stylish black coat, and this price and material are unbeatable. It has great style, and cute details although I would have to agree with a previous review that the buttons are a bit cheap looking. I have a fairly square upper, so I had the bottom sides of the coat taken in to give a more shape hugging look, and it is a knockout now! Very pleased! Will definitely use Overstock again!

I bought the coat in cream. This coat is very classy. The appearance is just as it was advertised. The material is very soft and warm. The coat can be worn with classy,business or casual attire. The fit is good. Initially,I thought it was a little snug across the chest, but readjusted it and it fit perfectly. The flare is gorgeous,especially for thicker more shapely woman as myself,size14. It doesn't hide the shape. Its definitely a must have.

Thought this coat was gorgeous online and had to have it! It fits wonderfully, a little snug through the chest--but I like the long length and the detail in the back. Buttoned up to the top it will be a unique coat for the winter!

I thought the coat looked a little better in the picture than on me but overall, it's a nice coat, especially for the price. I was looking for a coat that's a little bit different than your average work coat and this one meets that requirement. I don't think this coat will keep me warm through the coldest part of the winter (I live in the Northeast) but it will be fine for the short walks I have from the train station to my work building. Overall, I'm happy with my purchase.

This is the most beautiful coat ever! It adds a fashionable air of sophistication to whatever you're wearing......from jeans to a cocktail dress. When I say "I love, love, love it", I mean it!! This jacket is more cashmere than wool - very nice to have on even with bare skin.

The coat is very nice, but the pleating in the back creates a lot of excess fabric. (a bit too much for my taste) But I think the coat is very cute, and I get compliments all the time.

I was a little skeptical at first after reading review stating that the buttons were not the same as the picture , but I took a chance.I am glad I did.The coat looked just like the picture.It is very beautiful.The oversized buttons really make the coat.It fits great and the material is alot softer than what I expected.

I love this coat!! It's warm, looks great on (very slimming), and feels luxurious because of the cashmere. The coat easily complements a dressy outfit but can also make a casual jeans outfit 'pop'. Living in New York, you always see fashionable people and think "I could never afford that". Well, thanks to Overstock, you actually can!

I was truly disappointed with this item. The pictures were wonderful, and with the previous reviews I expected a much better value. The fabric itself was thin and scratchy. Cashmere? Not the Cashmere I grew up with, The pockets were decorative only, sewn shut. The top was ill fitting and the *flared* bottom was way to wide for the style.

Truly one of the most stunning, well-made coats I've ever seen! So soft, warm, and completely comfortable. I ordered it in winter white and just love it. It's cut so uniquely in both the front and the back. You won't be disappointed with this beauty and at such a fantastic, great price!
