Better than I Expected
I ordered this coat looking for about a knee length black overcoat that would be classy in casual or format settings. The coat is a delightful dark black, and the fabric is light enough that it doesn't weigh on your shoulders, but is very warm, so only buy if you want a coat that will keep you cozy. The coat ran just a little bit large in the chest (I ordered a 42, but knowing what I do now I'd probably like a 40) but this is by no means a dealbreaker, I'm not sending it back, so don't worry over it too much, just don't order larger than your measured size. The hem is nice and long (approximately knee length to mid calf depending on how tall you are) so if you're worried about the coat being too short, i.e. mid-thigh, don't. Unless you're VERY tell, or genuinely want a coat that's at your ankles or so, I'd advise you to go with the regular length. This was better than I was expecting, and I would definitely advise this coat to someone looking to get a black trenchcoat, it can create either a Bohemian look or a classy gangster look alternately. It doesn't seem to attract lint, hair and other gunk quite as easily as most woolen black fabric, which is definitely a plus for me! Still, bear in mind black does make tagalongs more conspicuous, so I'd advise carrying a little lint roller in your pocket just in case. All in all, weighing in at ***, good quality and construction, classy appearance, warmth of fabric, and almost perfect sizing, a steal of a deal for someone looking for a black trench.

Stunningly Handsome - Rich and Warm
My order arrived and I was instantly pleased. I've worn it everywhere the weather was cold, and it withstands rain (and snow) beautifully. Compliments rained in for this coat as well. If it has any drawback at all, it's that it's very warm. You'll be tempted to wear it in cool weather, it's that stunning. Don't, unless you want the inside of your coat wetter than the weather outside! All in all a perfect purchase at the perfect price. I am immensely satisfied.

Well-made coat - great price
The coat is good looking and warm enough for Louisville, Kentucky. In Minneapolis I needed warmer coats and some days we went straight to parkas. This coat is made out of warm, good-looking fabric but it is not going to be soft and plush like a cashmere coat. The thickness of the fabric means that the coat looks good even if it isn't being pressed all the time. I can stuff this coat into the overhead of an airplane seat and its natural stiffness makes it look good as soon as I put it on again. For the money it is surprisingly well-made. It seems like it will wear well over time.

- Please tell us about the quality of the product. The fabric feels very substantial. It has a warm feeling to it. I have had Cashmere coats that felt too flimsy.
- How accurate was the sizing? It ran slightly small for me. I don't bother with a topcoat unless I am wearing a suit so I could have ordered one size bigger.
