I'm so glad I I ordered this dress, I was a bit hesitant due to the previous review. First of all, I'm 5' 4" around 127lbs, 34B bra size. In dresses I typically wear a size 2, but there have been times according to the designer, I wear a size 4. With Maggy London dresses It's a size 4. This dress is so beautiful, it's comfortable and classy looking. It's very well made, and the Lycra adds just the right give. The price is truly unbeatable, at Macy's or Nordstrom's you'd pay double. This is a beautiful dress for a very good price.

I too am a true size 8 and this dress fits perfectly! It is very striking and the color is beautiful. It's a great dress and I am so glad I ordered it!

Based upon the other reviews, I ordered a size up from my normal 8 to a 10. The fit was just all wrong. Too big and therefore baggy in the stomach area, but too narrow in the hips. I also agree with a previous reviewer that said that this dress is almost a petitie fit. I am 5' 3" and the dress hit above the knee on me, so I can imagine on a taller woman it would be almost mid-thigh length. Very pretty in the picture and was looking forward to wearing it soon, but the fit is just not good at all.

I love this dress! The overall look really flaters my hourglass figure. I've been trying on dresses in different stores and this is the only one that really "wowed" me. I am between a 10-12, so I ordered a 14 because other reviewers said it ran small. The dress fits pretty good, the only thing I wil need to get altered are the straps which are a little baggy. My boyfriend loves this and says it really "pops". I'm wearing this to a Labor Day Wedding and I can't wait!

Beautiful dress in a sturdy fabric. Color is a blue red, very rich looking. Because the size is not true, the fit is small and the comfort level is not there.The next size is huge.Everyone knows you have entered htr room in this one so I thought it was worth it. GREAT price.

I wore this dress to my 20 year high school reunion and I got tons of compliments. Nearly everyone else was wearing black or a print of some kind and I really stood out in this dress in red. I have other Maggy London dresses and sometimes I wear a size 4 and sometimes a 6, so I ordered both and then returned the size 4 which was too small. The only drawback is that there is not a lining in this dress which would have been nice because I felt like the front of the dress sometimes clung to my pantyhose even though the hose are very silky. It wasn't a big deal, but that's why I didn't rate it 5 stars on comfort because I had to pull the bottom of the dress down a few times.

Very flattering cut and color for my petite pear shape. This dress balances shoulders and hips very well and the waist panel cuts a terrific hourglass shape. Fabric is a cotton sateen with a bit of stretch. Would love this dress in an evening fabric. This designer runs a size small. I'm five foot two and this regular misses size was scaled to a shorter woman. Not a true petite cut, but not for the very tall. General reaction of others was "wow." Great value and quick shipping. I purchased this dress for a wedding. If fit great, looked classy, but I still was able to dance in it. When ordering, I noticed there was a bit of discussion about the sizes running small. I'm a size 4, and I ordered a size 4 and it fit perfect.

This truly is the perfect red. It's a nice fit, but one size bigger than what you would normally buy is best. The skirt is a great length, not too short and not too long. The fabric could be a little bit fancier, but it's still nice. I can't wait to wear it for my special night out.
