Maggie Bags Recycled Seatbelt Small Messenger Bag

I have had my eyes on this bag for months now and this year when my birthday rolled around, my Husband and Mother said I could pick out the color I wanted! I got the dark grey and I LOVE it! I didn't give it 5 stars, only because some of the stitching around the rim of the bag was loose and I had to trim some of it away. I feel like a bag that costs $$$ dollars, should not need to be mended before you even use it. The sizing on the bag is exactly what it says on the website, however keep in mind that with the beautiful purple satin lining that says maggiebags on it, takes up a lot of room in the bag, I almost wish I had ordered the large messenger. I can fit my flat wallet, a small pencil pouch for make up, my standard sized smart phone, my checkbook, two pens (there are pockets just for them) and a business card holder. But that's it, anymore and I wouldn't be able to get anything out of it. Overall, I love the look of the bag, I just don't know if it will be my everyday bag as I had hoped it would be.

I love my new Maggie bag...this is my second one...love the size and crossbody styling...these are such beautiful, well made bags...absolutely a fabulous idea to recycle seat belts..will probably order another one in the near future.

This pocketbook is sturdy, fashionable, and convenient. Although the picture doesn't show you, the lining of the purse is very high quality also. It features two pockets on the side to keep your cell phone etc. at easy reach, along with a few pen holders. It also has a side zipper compartment. I've gotten so many compliments on this item, and love that it's an eco-friendly buy. Definitely worth the money. I would buy it all over again but don't think I'd have to since it's so well made and sturdy! :)

Spent a lot of time shopping (on line) for one of these seatbelt bags, and was thrilled to find Maggie's brand. Way less expensive than the "original", plus I love the diagonal strapping (vs. horizontal & vertical). Even in a solid color, it looks multi-shaded because of the different strap directions catching light differently. Nice sturdy lining, perfect size for my needs. It's a bit heavy, but not disproportional to it's sturdiness.
