Nice coat
I am satisfied with the style of the coat and the quality, but I am very disappointed in the size. There is no reason a size 14 should be cut so small. I am normally a 10 which is medium and fits me comfortably. Then for a 14 to feel like a fitted medium is just terrible!! This jacket was definitely made for petite women. I definitely don't even need to try and wear a thin sweater with this coat.

The coat creates a very feminine shape
The only thing is that I had to replace snap backs as the bottom snap kept opening. The grommet used created a hole in the coat and the snap back fell through. Luckily, it is a standard size snap and I have replaced only the backs of the snaps - sewing them with coat thread to secure it.

Great length. Runs small.
I enjoying wearing and owning Michael Michael kors products. I do like this coat except for the snap buttons. I had to get zippers sewn on just to make this coat work. I live in Chicago and naively bought this coat assuming it had a front zipper instead it had side zipper pockets. The sleeve runs a little long for the length but I can't complain. It's great for the winter. The collar does not fold so it kind of rubs my neck. I am 5'2

Not what I was looking for
I was really let down by this coat. I'm normally a 10/12 but ordered a 14 to accomodate bulky sweaters/winter clothing underneath, but it was still small (especially in the arms, the sleeve length was quite short.) The snap-front buttons were rather flimsy and though the coat is lined, the weight of the wool itself was rather light. I'll be returning this item and continuing my search for a good winter coat!
