I purchased this right before I visited Iceland in November and this jacket really did the trick. It's extremely light weight yet keeps you completely warm. The best part is the hood, which when worn down, shields your neck from the wind and cold. The front has a slight plunge which works nice with a scarf - and keeps the wearer from feeling choked up at the neck. This jacket is awesome - true to size and stylish.

I get tons of compliments on my Michael Kors down coat. The pillow collar is very different and people notice it. While it sometimes sits up too high, it unrolls enough to become a hood! One of the reviews I'd read before I bought it mentioned that the big zipper pockets are sometimes scratchy when putting hands in and out, but I don't find it a problem. I wish the coat came in more colors ... it seems everyone has a black down coat. I would've like tan or winter white. I am a medium in most clothes ( 5'5" tall, 125 lbs.) but bought a large so I could wear sweaters underneath. Very glad I did. All in all, a terrific purchase!!!

Collar of this coat is really special and classy. Cut of coat is extremely flattering. It is a really good looking coat....and very warm. Looses a little roominess in the fit in order to get the flattering lines, so you might want to go up a size if you plan to wear bulky sweaters underneath it.

I ordered a small since I usually wear a size 4 but the small is actually a small/petite in this coat/brand so I think that it runs a bit small. So, I can't wear bulky sweaters under it (which is fine for when I'm outside, etc. but when I get to my destination and take my coat off (and have no sweater on) it's cold :( Love, love, love the coat otherwise. It's puffy but lightweight and not bulky looking. Love that it's long but there are discreet zippers @ the bottom that zip up so that you can walk/sit easily without the coat fabric tugging. I'd buy this again in a heartbeat - just in the next size bigger than I normally wear.

The only problem is the zippers for the front pockets. The pockets are small and the zipper is very scratchy when putting my hands into them. Other than that-it looks great and is very cozy. they shouldn't have put zippers (or at least that type) on the coat.

This is a perfect coat for city commuters. It looks great and feels great to wear. It is soft, light, warm, stylish and comfortable. Size L fits me just as I expected - comfy but not too big and bulky. This is the best winter coat I have ever had so far. I hightly recommended it to my friends and a few already got it and are extremely happy about it.

I love this coat!! So glad I decided to order it! It's soft and warm. It's a great length and slightly fitted around the middle so you don't look so thick and boxy! I love to have a hood for rain or snow or if it's super cold, and I love the way the hood looks when you're not wearing it. The only reason I gave 4 stars for comfort is that the zippers on the pockets are somewhat scratchy, otherwise, super comfy!

This coat is really sharp looking and fits well, especially through the shoulders and hips. However, the shell does nothing to cut the wind, and without that, the down can't fully insulate. I imagine it's perfect for driving given the length, but I needed a jacket for a commute which includes walking and waiting on an outdoor train platform - even on my front porch where I tested this coat, the wind cut right through. One other thing to keep in mind, due to the design of the combination shawl collar/hood, the zipper and top snap close the coat no higher than about 6 - 8 inches below the chin. So if you like to bundle up and keep your chest and neck warm, you'll need a scarf on the outside of this jacket to keep it closed. It really is a lovely design and the collar falls nicely, but just not practical for being outdoors for prolonged periods. If you wear your coat to go between office and parking garage, and your car takes a while to warm up, then this coat is for you. But if you really spend a lot of time walking in the cold, you might end up returning it like I did.

This jacket is beautifully cut-- first down parka that I've owned that doesn't make you look like the Michelin man! It is quite warm (haven't experienced a full winter yet), and the hood is very unique. Its about knee-length, and I LOVE that its has both zippers and snaps. I've received lots of compliments!!

When I got the jacket, on my birthday not to mention, it was lighter than I expected. I put it on and it fit perfectly. It is not bulky, but it is warm! The zipper is great, and the texture of the jacket is perfect. It is form fitting. And my favorite part: the hood falls fashionably.

A great down coat for a reasonable price. Fitted and stylish. The collar is beautiful and could also be a hood in very cold weather. The hardware on the pockets is not very subtle but that's a minor issue.
