This is the perfect SUMMER sweater. Yes, you've read right. SUMMER. It provides JUST the PERFECT rear end coverage, shoulders and arms as well without being too hot. :)I am in love with this sweater can't wait for it to get hot again to wear it. Love overstock.
It's doesn't hang quite like it did on the mannequin-but it's still pretty fabulous and really comfortable. I think if I were to do it over I might go one size smaller but really I'm very happy with it.
when i received the sweater it was all wrinkled from shipping. it made it hard to figure out how to wear it. after letting it hang i tried it on . it is not really anything like the picture, but i like it anyway.
I debated on buying this for a while. By the time I decided to buy it, it was only available in the L/XL, and I am fairly small. Because the design seemed so freeform, I decided to take a chance and buy it anyway. If the quality was good, I figured I could give it as a gift if it was too big on me. When the item arrived it arrived in a (I assume) heat-sealed plastic shipping bag from overstock. The bag was sealed tightly except for a lump in the center where the sweater obviously was. I very carefully proceeded to try and cut the sweater free. But as this was not working and I was afraid to cut into the sweater, I decided to tear the plastic off. The inner plastic bag was melted to the outer plastic bag and I had a heck of a time gently pullling the plastic away to liberate the entangled sweater and my receipt. Fortunately the sweater was OK. But you may have a problem with the packaging. The L/XL was a bit big on me (I normally wear a size 0 or 2). But with this freeform design, which is pretty casual, I still think I can get away with wearing it (but it is a bit long in the back). I don't think it can be worn as a true long sleeve cardigan, it's more of a shorter sleeve dolman cardigan. It is a nice quality and came with the original MIchael Kors retail tag of over $100. For the price, I am pleased with it. But I wish Overstock would be more careful with some of their packaging. For example I received one coat recently, thrown in a bag (though packed much more carefully than this sweater. Yet, another jacket I ordered arrived on a hanger, in a plastic garment bag and packed in a coat box. I guess it's hit or miss with overstock sometimes. I hope someone in management is reviewing this.
